The area is nice if you are looking to move out of the busy central London and go somewhere where you will be in the middle of the busy part (close to central London in 20 minutes, 20 minutes form Camden or Hampstead heath), you can easily find a house in a nice neighbourhood and pets are welcome almost everywhere! There is an IKEA in 15 minutes in buses and you will still be in zone 3. I have been living in this area since almost 3 years and I love it!
Transport
The are is well deserved, there are buses going to Wembley where there is the Wembley outlet and the stadium. There are buses as well going to golders green (in 10 minutes) where you can take the buses to go to any London airport. There is the tube as well, Hendon central station (northern line with the one you can get in 20 minutes to Oxford street), golders green or finchley road and the national rail services as well that you take from the Hendon station at 10 minutes walk from Hendon central station. It's easy to go wherever you need as the buses/ tube services are working all the time.
Community
Good aspects: nice and quiet area, where there is almost only owners and families living there. There are 3 parks all at 5 minutes walk and it's very nice to have this option when you want to go out but not too far. There are a lot stores to do your grocery shopping. Bad aspects: the bins are collected only once a week and it would be better to have a collection twice a week, the street are sometimes not clean especially around the main roads and we are close to main traffic roads as well.

The area is very local and there is not too much choices of restaurants, shops or bars. The most popular local area is the Brent cross shopping centre, the mall is nice and there is a nice choice of restaurant and shops. However it's always closing around 8-9pm so its not very convenient if you want to have dinner there when you finish work at 6pm. It would be nice to have more option of coffee shops (not just Costa) and nice open spaces with restaurants.

the area is suitable for pets and children. i feel quite safe especially because of the busy atmosphere you feel like you are part of a community. atmosphere is contrasting at times but that is london, it’s not too quiet or not too busy

it is close proximity to transport, there is rush hour especially during the mornings and evenings and it does get busy quit a lot however after rush hour, it calms down

bin collections are in point. mostly renters live on my street and parking availability is high, i have not seen any anti social behaviour

the shops around me are very friendly. everyone here is very friendly. Bars and restaurants are different in terms of culture and food. open spaces are used to a maximum standard especially for exercise

Area is safe, and it's great for kids and pets, but for young people the only good thing is Hampstead is 3 stops away so most of the ppl are coming for the cheap price which I think they ain't so cheap, so if you like to go out and have fun with friends definitely that is not the area.

The area is served by Northern line wich usually i like but Edgware branch is always problematic and to plan your journey is almost impossible. The bus service is not good and the buses are almost never on time, for the night bus there is just one. So apart of your expensive oyster be ready to spend money for uber as well.

Living in the area is not bad experience in general, is quaite, neighbours are nice and mostly young people, owners and renters but the parking space is a complete disaster no space at all if you live here fine you have ur space but if you visit catastrophic.

The area is new development, there is big park which is very nice for sport and family time. Good food shops, but other shops like coffee shops are missing and that is a big problem to me personally as I am a coffee lover.
