London in a jar of beauty, bold and peace.

The place is truly amazing, with a beautifully diverse community, stay long enough and you'll be having you're daily conversations with your shopkeeper and an occasional wave to neighbours. With the thought-provoking Parkland Walk hanging over the nature Concrete Hive you get a *lot* of both worlds, when you need some fresh air you can take a walk of that refreshing trail and pet some dogs on your way (a clearly great place to please your pets). If you want a bit of excitement take one bus, one train, one cycle and you'll be at the heart of the city. Want to swim? Tottenham lesuire center in minutes. Want to ice skate? Alexander Palace ice rink. Want to bowl? Finsbury Bowling Alley. Want Italian pizza? Papagone. Want Asian delight? Yik and Yak. Everything's in your reach with this little city of dreams, with a great mix of cultures you'll find trendy foods and clothes with traditional food and clothes across the road. This whole time, I've known not to mention one thing. Finsbury Park, a great recreational ground for absolutely anything! From Skating to Tennis, to Basketball to outdoor gyms! The park includes everything including a massive park for kids and nice walks a long ponds tree covered land's for pets and jogs. Need a challenge try cycle or jog up to Alexander Palace where you'll get the most magnificent view of the beautiful center and independent stalls with exotic and tasty foods. Go down one way off the Palace, you'll find yourself in a booming metropolis of shopping and central-ish life (Wood Green), take another turn, you get yet another park! And the peace of residency (Hornsey and Stroud Green) This area is to be left as it is being developed in the current, there is no need to add overt retail to the right of the Palace, nor residency to the left, there are perfectly divided but easily accessible sections of society where families, pets and couples can settle down, rise up or float in the middle in what really is a scaled down version of central version enhanced by the locality of it's resident, but even then once can isolate should they want to and they will be left unbothered. You are given total freedom within the walls of cohabitation and living, perfectly versatile and well structured as is. A marvel of civilisation.

Transport

There is a boatload of transport, where you'd expect central london to have alot of consistency as opposed to suburban areas, but it's quiete the opposite. The area's transport, with the 29 line taking you from Wood Green to Stroud Green, to only the Centre of Trafalgar Square with a wide array of different lines which vary in where end up, were you to have children this free transport could get them to school in seconds. The underground is amazing aswell, with alot of police making sure you're safe you can reach even further/deeper into London (bordering the outside of London!!), Rush Hour is to be expected but not on the magnitude of usual location, plus it mostly empties as the bus gets through its line and if choosing N4, you can snatch a seat early on at the bus terminal! The cleanliness of the Buses and Trains are nothing to complain about whatsoever, simply clean as can be, can't talk much about a blank canvas.

Community

My street is a peaceful one, whilst not crazy on bin presence the lack of popularity of the street makes for a clean one, seeing as all those who travel the road are residents nothing disruptive goes on, especially considering it is mostly families and couple who live there, though I can't say much about their finance I can't say they are bothersome but they are friendly

Amenities

Only 5 minutes away from me is a small but amazingly diverse street of restaurants and essential stores (down from Crouch Hill, up from the station). There's also alot access efficient public transport and if you're wiring to drive, cycle or travel you'll find even more massive high streets within minutes.

Everything you need within walking distance!

Overall, I really like living here. I love the sense of village/community that you get and I cannot stress enough how important this has been throughout COVID19 lockdown. I consider a huge perk having everything within walking distance and not needing to go Central. I would say the area is really trendy but relaxed, not too posh to the point that makes you feel uncomfortable. Loads of houses have gardens so pets are welcome I guess, and children have every facility they need. Crouch End feels really safe.

Transport

I would say the transport links is pretty good, although the closest tube, Finsbury Park, is around 30 mins walk (10’with a bus) I would say you can easily reach Central with buses, there’s a bus that take you from the heart of Crouch End all the way to Trafalgar Square! There is an overground which is very convenient as well, and Hornsey and Alexandra Palace train station are not too far either, making it good connections for travelling to airports and other station. There are quiet a few cycle routes, I have definitely seem improvement over the last years, as well as chargin stations for electric cars. As a young woman living alone I never had a problem with night buses nor with avoiding my any specific area, I feel very safe here.

Community

Parking availability is pretty good I heard from people who drive, bin collection is good (we’re getting better with recycling and we have asked for a food bin to the Council and got it delivered the same day). I would expect a 50-50 owners and renters but it is just a perspection. I would say very few students, mostly young couples snd people in their 30s.

Amenities

Crouch End is a very vibrant little villagey neighbourhood filled with creative and chill vibes. Super wide range of ethnic restaurants, charity shops and independent shops. You can find all kinds of food from Vietnamese, to Italian, Greek up to Indian including loads of vegan and plant options a stone’ thrown away from your house. The choice of supermarkets is great as well as cosy indie cafés for brunch or just the best coffee in town. There are beautiful parks, cinemas, a little theatre, churches, libraries, recording studios and everything you need within walking distance we no need to ever go Central London. This has honestly been an invaluable perk during lockdown.

Great transport; Wonderful markets; Lots of green spaces.

Regeneration would be the best thing, but the atmosphere is fine

Transport

The transport is great. There's a overground station just under 10 mins from me and i feel like i don't want to walk i can just take the bus which is like 3 stops and also quicker.

Community

There's a lot of antisocial behaviour to be honest... around here is mostly families and students this area is not really recommended for couples.

Amenities

Well in my area theres quite a few off licence shops there's also 2 sainsbury's which are very well situated we got around 3 bars to watch football to be entertained not the best quality but does the job
