I'd say it's a great place to live. Like all places though there are areas in need of TLC. There is a real pothole problem around here. And if you dont mind waiting weeks for a doctors appointment then its ideal.
Transport
There are traffic jams down the main streets on my way to work, thankfully I use a short cut. Public transport is plentiful but they use the packed main streets so they are slow. Tons of cycling routes. Public transport is usually clean

Bad parking availability due to massive office towers, they come early and park up and down our street. Bin men are great, street is clean. Rarely and crime, police station is close by. Mostly families or couples with older children. Rarely a house for sale
Amenities
Great selection of local shops. Huge number of restaurants, mostly serving korean food. Do have classics like wetherspoons, nando's etc. Handful of pubs. We have a mini tesco, lidl, waitrose and a couple family owned grocery stores on the high street. There is a massive tesco near the a3 too. Train station and bus stops are easily located. Schools are plentiful. I'd say the only thing that needs work is the amount of doctor surgerys in the area, there is just not enough.

Kingston has a train station that runs regularly to central London, so you can easily pop to Waterloo in just 30 minutes but if you prefer a cheaper option there’s lot of bus services that run through to central too. Richmond is just a 15 minute bus ride away and great little town too!

Kingston is such a good town! No need to go into central to have fun! There is cinema, Bentalls shopping centre! Lots and lots of restaurants ranging from high end to cheap eats. A market runs right in the centre of the town, offering fresh bread, cheese, food stalls, all sorts! And the nicest area is by the riverside whee you can find lots of spots to eat or have a drink!

It is a very safe area. In my opinion the biggest plus is the close proximity to Kingston centre, where restaurants and shops are. It’s a quiet area, perfect for people who don’t want to live in a busy, noisy place. There could be more grocery shops nearby.

There is a few bus stops around, as well as a train station, from which you can take a fast train to central London. Kingston centre is not far away, where even more busses and trains are available.
Community
There is parking available. There is just one busy road nearby, however it is not too noisy. The hospital is right in front of the building. There is a lot of renters and nhs staff living around.
Amenities
There is not many shops and restaurants around, however the location where I live is very close to the Kingston city centre, which is full of amenities. It is either a short bus drive away or a 15/20 minutes walk.
