I like the area as it’s very calm and peaceful, nobody is disturbing or tryin to give you a headache in any way, especially at night time, the good thing is having at least one local shop around the corner even if it is a bit expensive but it has almost all the necessary things, I have some problems with transportation as I don’t use the dlr too much I prefer using the bus as it’s cheaper obviously but I almost always have to walk more than 10 min to get to the bus stop, with the dlr you can get almost anywhere so it’s good but it depends on where you’re going. If you have your own transport than you could have some problems as almost all cars have to pay the bay unless you have a motorbike and you can leave it somewhere safe but they told me so many times to be careful as I have a motorbike and the concierge told me that they have been stealing motorbike from inside the garage getting inside behind someone going in with the car so you must take your gadget to protect your vehicle and I would surely invest on it. I found a small space on the garage next to the bikes space and is not marked as a bay so I put the motorbike there and I never had any type of problem so you must see if you have any chance to do so with your vehicle I would advice you to do so,

In Blackwall area there are a lot of way to move using the dlr to get to stratford Canning Town Canary Wharf or moving towards east London without much problems, the difficulties are with the bus for which you have to walk for at least 10 min as there are not many options available unless you take 2 bus and get off at another stop.

There are not places to park the car unless you have a bay and that means you are paying ( and a lot) and I see so many people getting tickets for a quick stop, there are a lot of couples and families in the area, I like the area is cool and calm, you can really feel the peace....

I leave in Blackwall way, the area is cool and calm, the people are nice and friendly, there are not many local shops except bids local around the corner, unless you walk for at least 10 min to find any Tesco or Sainsbury’s, there are not restaurants around unless you walk again in canary warf area

It is a very busy lively area however it does need regeneration. Generally I feel very safe in the area people are always out and about.

E14 has an excellent transport link. You have the DLR stations that are all within walking distance from anywhere in E14. There is always a bus route running through most local areas that run very effeciently and come very often. It's very easy to get to an underground station. Traffic is mainly quite good except for the build traffic from Rotherhithe tunnel and Blackwall tunnel. The junction at the end of east India Dock Road can be very dangerous for both motorists and pedestrians as the lights are often covered by larger vehicles and people start crossing when traffic slows down.

The street I live in is a very quiet residential street. Very diverse. Lots of community events take place through the year. Situated very close to most amenities. We have mainly families with young children living here. Recently a few houses have been turned in to houses for short term renters which can cause some disruption.

Their is an array of different restaurants in the area. A taste of cuisine from all around the world. We have Chrisp Street Market which have a lot shops that have most essentials needed for everyday living. As well as many small newsagents and off licenses spotted around residential areas away from the market. There are also many parks for children to play in most estates have their own little parks. There is also plenty of open spaces for picnics and a run around such as Bartlett Park and Langdon Park. You also have the Thames Riverside walk way which can be faster way to get around sometimes. I would say our local area would benefit from some clothing retail stores as there is only the market stores that currently sell clothing and more indoor play areas or a cinema for children for when the weather is not great.

There are no buses tubes or overground near my area. We can not travel to upper London without being kicked out of the cycle routes due to bad drivers

Very little traffic noise. Most of my area are house owners couples and families. There are a lot of parking spaces but there are no bin collections.

There are no restaurants no bars and no local shops. I have to to draw downtown to get a quick fish and chip with the lads.
