There is street parking available as long as you abide by the rules. Bin collections take place every week. For large waste you have to contact local authorities. Minimal traffic noise, only cars pulling up to the street. Not much anti-social behaviour. Mainly renters with big families.

I like that everything is close by, from shops, amenities, the transport and friends and family.
I like that everything is close by, from shops, amenities, the transport and friends and family. Many of us grew up together at the local schools so it's hard not to see a familiar face. The area as a whole has and is seeing a regeneration with new residential buildings and old ones being revamped. It makes for an aesthetically pleasing place to live in. There are always new businesses starting up so plenty of new things to see and try. It is a nice area and community to grow up in and is suitable for children and pets with lots of green open space, parks, nurseries and schools. It is more safe now than it has been before and is the best place to live.
Transport
E14 is very well connected with many modes of transport. With a range of local buses from the D8, D3, D7, 135 and 277 that can easily take you to a variety of places including night buses. The DLR runs through this area which can take you to Lewisham and Canary Wharf from where you can travel to Bank as well as use underground services such as the Jubilee line at Canary Wharf. The buses and trains run regularly and you don't need to rely on just one to get you where you need to which makes it so easy to travel and they are usually clean. Like most places there can be traffic at peak hours but everything runs smoothly most of the time and any disruptions such as events will be well prepared for. Buses and trains are most busiest in the morning when going to school/work and then later going home from school/work. It can be difficult to travel at these times given the number of people trying to get on the same bus/train as you which can be crowded but luckily there will be another bus/train a few minutes later. You can find many bike stations at various locations across the area and even without transport it is very easy to get around on foot as everything is close by. Overall, it is an easily accessible area to get in and out of thanks to the transport.

Parking is available in the area. For garbage disposal we have an adjacent building that has a bin chute as well as a basement located underneath the building which can be easily accessed for the bins and recycling and the bin collections occur regularly. As it is not on a main road there is very little traffic noise too. Many of the houses on the street are renters with all of them being families. The area is quiet most of the time and the neighbours are friendly and there is little to no anti social behaviour.
Amenities
E14 has a wide range of local shops for your every need from grocery shops such as Tesco, Co-op and Asda in many locations, corner shops, charity shops, pharmacies, beauty salons, flower shops, retail shops, cafes as well as fast food shops where you can grab a Subway, Papa John's, fish and chips etc and the popular bubble tea shops. Everything you need can be found locally and it is even easier to eat locally with cosy cafes and the range of restaurants from Kinkao, Memsaab, Manjal and the Old Fire Station restaurant amongst others. Not to mention the numerous restaurants (Nandos, Wagamamas, Wahaca, The Ivy, Pizza Express, Shake Shack to name a few) that can be found within a quick walk to Canary Wharf. The KERB food market in West India Quay inspires you to sample a range of street food and The Wharf Kitchen provides access to different restaurants in one spot. A short distance from the shopping centre you can find the Crossrail Rooftop Garden which has many more eateries like Chai Ki, Sticks n Sushi and The Breakfast Club. Alongside the restaurants you can find many bars too. What makes dining out in E14 so special is that many restaurants come with a view whether it is the Riverside, the tall city buildings or the welcoming outdoor spaces. Nothing beats grabbing a burger from Shake Shack and sitting on the grass in socially distanced bubbles with friends. Aside from open spaces like grassy areas there are parks dotted around with Millwall Park being a popular location thanks to it's size allowing for football games, picnics, jogs, exercise with a jungle gym and good old fashioned fun with the usual swings and roundabout. It directly leads you right into Mudchute Farm which is a perfect family outing. For the older kids there are clubs to hang out in as well as a skate park, Cineworld and Powerleague for a range of sports activities. In addition, there are sports centres such as Tiller Leisure Centre which is popular for swimming lessons. Currently, there are no amenities missing as there is something for everyone and new shops are always popping up such as bubble tea, vape shops and second hand shops which are a great way to experience the modern trends with their traditional neighbours such barbers and cafes.
Nice place for young professionals
Its an area to live when youre young as its close to canary wharf and the city. I would definitely not raise a family here
Transport
Multiple DLR stops here. Canary wharf on the jubilee is only 10 min walk away. A couple of buses going into the city but theyre very slow. Wish connection to north greenwich is better as theyre just across the river
Community
Relatively quite all day. Not a lot of crazy loud traffic. A mixture of families and professionals living in this area. During the day, it feels safe
Amenities
Plenty of of supermarkets to choose from: teso, asda, waitrose, m&s. Restaurants are ok, theyre mostly from big chains like shake shack, nandos etc. Would love more cheap bites and independent restaurants here, as most of them are quite pricey. Its 10min walk away from Canary Wharf which is a hub but its nice in the weekend to hang out because its not too crazy like the weekdays (well before covid anyway)
