The area is safe, the atmosphere is tranquil and comforting, but it would be nice to have a regeneration, or an exterior refurbishment which I dont expect in the coming years. The community is supportive and comfortable and market places are not so busy but cater for all essentials.

Transport is optimal, there are multiple bus stops nearby where I live, including a train station not too far away from here. I can travel to and from work safely using the same route and trust the transport lines to be managed correctly, and at all times it is maintained to the best standard. Cycle lanes and roads are not busy, they have the right amount of traffic and do not cause any disturbance.
Community
Parking availability could be better, with a lot of residents it is inevitable to have people wanting more parking spaces for their vehicles, however I do understand how difficult that can be when you have single lane roads. A lot of families live on our street, and mostly that of the asian community. Bin collections are collected frequently too so there are no problems so far.
Amenities
The quality of life on my street is overall great, we live in a tranquil residence with no commotion, the shops nearby my flat cater for everyday essentials, a salon and a fast food shop, which in my case is a benefit of living in my area. The local park is not busy and is maintained well, however a few additions could be made to make it more interractive for future generations. Langdon park is populsr among the local residents and has a fair amount of space for people planning to have their day out there. The market place isnt too far off and accomodates for all my needs. If I were to change anything, it would be inside service for residence who have problems with their home facilities but I understand the high maintenance being in lockdown and all.

Outstanding local transport links. DLR right on your doorstep with connections to Stratford, bank and tower gateway. Canary Wharf for the jubilee line is only a short walk away and there’s multiple bus routes running through available 24/7

Most people living in this area are professionals working in Canary Wharf or the city of london. It is very easy to access both the city and Canary Wharf and being slightly further back from main roads means it is mostly quiet

Chrisp street market is very close by which has a coop and a great range of other shops including butchers, newsagents, coffee shops, barbers, Iceland, a bar, dry cleaner and more. There’s also a local fruit and veg market which operates every day bar Sunday. It is great to pick up most daily essentials. There’s also a great local library and business centre for studying and working. There’s multiple local parks, one with an outdoor gym and bmx track providing great outdoor facilities to visit and use. Finally Canary Wharf is only a short walk away with an abundance of shops, restaurants, bars and leisure facilities. Chrisp street market has also recently received planning permission to regenerate the market adding even more shops, restaurants and leisure facilities in the near future. Travel options are also brilliant with the DLR into Stratford and central London just a short walk away and the jubilee line at Canary Wharf.

Very little traffic noise. Most of my area are house owners couples and families. There are a lot of parking spaces but there are no bin collections.
