Transport links are excellent as mentioned before. There are links to the underground services, national rail and dock lands light railway as well as local bus services

Community

The good aspects are the low traffic due to car free zones and the lack of antisocial behaviour. Mostly the street is made up of couples with young families

Amenities

The quality of shops is excellent with Lidl, Tesco and lots of independent shops in the area. There is a big park in the area as well with lots of kids amenities and open grass spaces for exercise and relaxing. Restaurants are scattered all over the place and many of them are really good with excellent service and food. The regents canal is one of the iconic parts of this area and it runs through the area, eventually linking up with the river Thames. The area also has very good transport links with the tube, C2C, DLR and local buses all within a reasonable distance. This area could be improved by maybe increasing the amount of retail shops and other amenities such as barbers, nail salons etc

During lockdown unfortunately I could see an increment of criminal , drug trafficker, baby gang and homeless which made me personally scared to walk around in the evening . The green areas made sure you can have a nice walk in the park , a beer during summer with friends and bring your pets around. The thing I like most is the fact I have the river close to me so this made my work’s path more enjoible

Jubilee line in Canary Wharf always too busy in a peak sometimes you have to do a long queue . Dlr stations always being populated with homeless people

Community

Lots of family and renters living in my street . A good Parking area and green spaces to spend free time with friends or jogging made the place comfortable to live in

Italian restaurant missing and Italian grocery and a nice pub/club with nice music to enjoy the week end are missing .
