The BMX track in the park is awesome - didn't realise it was there when I first moved!!! I'm obsessed with it and it's usually never too busy either.

I try to cycle as much as possible to keep my costs down (though storing a bike in London is always difficult). Roads can be busy. Public transport wise - all fine and convenient, just an expense I can cut back on with my bike.

It's just the expense around here that make its hard - especially as there is so much. Feel like there should be more lower cost places. A big plus is, cos it's always heaving with people. I always feel safe coming home at any time.
Amenities
Moved here for all the amenities and ease of the place. Sadly, in reality, unless I'm shopping at a pound shop or Primark, much of what the area has to offer is out of my reach. I have to go somewhere else if I want to eat at something that isn't a chain restaurant in the shopping center. I'm a big West Ham fan though so that's a massive bonus to be so close to the stadium for me. I rarely go to a match , but love the vibe of the area when a game is on.

With DLR 2 minutes away, I could either take this and head on down to Stratford International or I could rather use of the may routes available depending on how many steps I want to get in and enjoy the fresh air.
Community
I opted to live in this area due to not being around noisy streets, and huge foot traffic. It’s quiet more days and it’s mix between young professionals and families.

Victory Park right out by door step - that is well lit up, contains a Maze, a huge Park for my doggie and I to play. Sainsbury across the street, local butcher and plenty of pubs and restaurants, what more could I ask for. I’d say We salute you, Tina is a fabulous place for a Friday night drink.

It’s lovely and well looked after - more development near stadium and Hackney wick is exciting and I’m looking forward to that. Suitable for children and pets and I’ve always felt safe

Excellent options of transport links, but all 7-10 min walk away. Not convenient at night when Westfield is not possible to walk through. Gets busy at weekends and on match days / big events at the Olympic stadium

Parking is so limited and if available then have to pay. Permits are Available for Free parking but it’s just so limited, there is usually no guarantees. Neighbours are noisy and play loud music but traffic is low and not noisy. It is a mixture of young families, couples, working adults

Quiet a few small independent cafes, restaurants and grocery shop. Plenty of open space which is well kept. Easy Village borders the Olympic Park and is 5 minutes away from Hackney Wick. Missing more variety of shops, varying price ranges would be good
