There are good local schools. There has been a few play parks opened in recent years for children too. The area feels safe & is being regenerated which is always a good sign. It is getting even nicer to live here.

Transport is great here. Buses every few minutes & local train stations that link us to wider London. Lots of cycle & footpaths linking to the cycle highways of greater london. There is a good night bus service but travel is very problematic if there is accidents on the A13 as our local service has to pass across it.

Parking is bad locally, there is resident permit parking bays but still not enough parking available. Bins are collected regularly. Traffic noise is not too bad considering how close the A13 is. The local area is full of families & the elderly that have lived here since their homes have been built!

Local shops have been in decline but there are areas of refurbishment & regeneration bringing in new companies. Barking Riverside is a popular development in the area. More doctors are needed locally though.

Transport links are a major plus for the area. The nature areas around are continuously improving as more development continues. The Riverside area around Dagenham Market definitely needs redevelopment but this is planned in the coming years. Suitable for children and pets as there are safe areas for play and walking etc

Transport locally and into London is fantastic. Multiple bus routes across the area and multiple train lines from all local stations. Fast access to A13, North Circular and M25

Parking is becoming more difficult. Our specific parking for residents on our street is fine but other streets have limited parking and have begun parking illegally in our road, blocking access for emergency vehicles who smashed a vehicle window and moved it during a fire emergency

No restaurants or bars in the area. Small convenience stores but no large retail areas. There is planned development a few minutes walk away that should introduce some more recreational and retails areas in the coming years
