What I like lost about my area is the overall togetherness of the community; most people know eachother which makes a normal walk to the shop a friendly pleasant affair. One of my children has grown here from young and everyone knows who he is. He feels safe around here and I feel safe him being around here. It’s a lovely area with a good energy, there is always something fun to do with someone fun!! I also think that people in this area are willing to pull together to help at important times. One more thing, the staff at the local schools are amazing!!
Transport
There are three main train stations within close proximity to one another; Highbury and Islington, Essex road and angel. One is a tube station, one is national rail and one is all. So it is very easy to get to many different places. As with the busses there are many different routes that carry you in every direction. For example you can get a 56 from Islington to Leighton. Or a bus from Islington to Tottenham. A very wide range. I have never had a problem, delays are minimal and there is usual an alternate route. Generally the under ground and public transport are kept clean and presentable. Night buses are on a timetable but they come regular enough so as never to get stranded!!

The parking in Islington isn’t great if you do not have your own permit, but there are options. You can purchase visitor permits for different increments of time. So it doesn’t have to be a lonely affair. The noise lever on my road is not bad atall but sometimes you can hear the huddle and nuzzle of Essex road if something large is happening. The are is a fair mix between owners and renters, with majority families or couples. The bins are collected regular and areas kept tidy.

Islington is a lovely up and coming area. There are three stations within close proximity to one another which is very efficient. For convenience, there are a number of corner shops dotted around, there is also a number of different supermarkets for a good range on the monthly food shop. I would say Islington is best for its entertainment and food/drink; upper street is home to up and coming talents with life music shows. There are also a wide range of restaurants and bars to eat and drink your fill, from pubs to Nando’s to a fancy Italian and some cocktails. Islington is a lively place to live

Routes for any kind of transports (bikes, cars, public transport) are perfect and well connected. Available amenities are so much that it is difficult to know everything. The transport is perfect, for reaching any site of London. Westminster within 30 min by bus, King’s Cross within 20 minutes by bus, Victoria Station and Paddington Station within 30 minutes by tube, Heathrow Airport within 90 minutes by tube only.

This area is very familiar, so tend to be quiet. Courts in the area have a good looking and have a good maintenance.

The area of Essex Rd Station is very nice, and have a lot of amenities. Just in 200m are more than 10 restaurants of different kind of food (pubs, Mexican, pizzas, cafés, etc.). Other kind of services (post office, local practitioners), several food stores and shops are easily found within 5 min walking. Also 15 minutes walking from the Essex Rs St you can fina Highbury & Islington metro, which can take you to the main areas in London. In the other direction is Angel St, which is particularly popular for entertainment (restaurants, cinema). In this area are also several public parks and spaces.

Transport links are good however underground station is a bit far. This area is mainly run by overground. Not a huge issue but not many frequent stations.

Mostly families and couples live on my road. I believe there may be some students too but not too sure.

It is quite busy in my area, there are lots of supermarkets and cafes. It’s near shoreditch which has everything from shops,bars, entertainment, open spaces.
