Overview of N8 8SH, Rosebery Gardens, Crouch End

N8 is very suitable for children, pets and anyone who likes to live in what feels like a village with an excellent community spirit. It has a very arty vibe too, with open house art events and community festivals and fairs taking place throughout the year.

Transport

There isnt a tube station, however Highgate (zone 3), Archway (zone 2) and Finsbury Park (zone 2) are all within 30 mins walk, or a bus ride away. The W7 and W3 bus routes run regularly during commuting hours to Finsbury Park, and take 10-15 mins. The weekends can be tricky as there are far fewer buses.

Community

My street is a mixture of young professionals renting in houseshares and families who own their homes, and have often been here for many years. It is on the W7 bus routes and has several shops on it so is well connected.

Amenities

The best thing about living in N8 is the amount of good quality independent shops, cafes and restaurants there are. There are several grocers, butchers, good quality coffee shops, quirky arty design shops, many great brunch spots, lots of decent old pubs with good grub and tons of restaurants. These are all quite medium-high end, however, so if you are on a budget and looking for Aldi/Lidl/Savers/Wilko/greasy spoons you wont find them here, but these are all a bus ride away. There are plenty of open spaces in the vicinity, from local parks like Priory Park and Stationers Park to Alexandra Palace park and Queens Wood and Highgate wood very nearby. This is very unusual for London! There is also the hidden 'Crouch End open space' which feels like pure countryside.

We love to have more cafe and cinema to be open, also we want galleries.

Transport

The transport is quite good in my area. There is to bus run through my area and take to underground also over ground train 5 minutes walk away from me.

Community

It is very quit area and my very close to the park close to play ground as well. Just love the area.

Amenities

There aren't many shops and restaurants and cafe around my area. There's on off licence shop and pizza hut. There's one Indian restaurant, they do only take way , but it is delicious the food. I wish they could open some nice cafe.
