This part of Harringay is definitely going through a huge gentrification moment. I've been living around here for over 5 years and it's constantly changing. I don't mind that, but I do hope it doesn't change the overall feeling and style of the community! I would love to see more trees around and calmer traffic at the main road (difficult!), but overall I really like it here!

There are a few bus lines (including night bus) that run quite often. You can also reach national rail, overground and tube stations very easily (walking distance).

I live at a residential road near Green Lanes and it's mostly quiet, even though it's close to the main road. Sometimes drivers cutting through to skip traffic there can cause a bit of noise and disruption, but it doesn't happen daily. Parking is a bit complicated: both public and residential parking slots are constantly full, so you gotta be smart to find a place, but during lockdown it has been a bit quieter, which shows the issue is usually with other people parking around the residential areas. I hear about anti-social behaviour issues in Harringay from time to time, but I personally never had any problems here. Recycling and waste collection is done by Veolia in behalf of the council.

This part of Green Lanes is full of restaurants (specially Turkish) and cafes, so you never go hungry! There are a couple of nice local bars for wine and cocktails too, and the retail options are good enough to find almost everything you need without having to commute to Central. The traffic can be a bit crazy though, but if you like to walk, you'll be fine, and there are good public transport options too (few buses and trains - national rail, overground and tube are all walking distance). I wish there were more trees in the main road (Green Lanes), but the residential roads around are a bit greener, and there are a few parks nearby too. The neighbourhood is friendly and, during Covid, people have been helping each other, which is really nice to see.

Turnpike Lane park need more policing and all surrounding area east from N8 things gets better towards seven sisters and south towards Finsbury Park. No cycling Lane towards Manor House very dangerous traffic if you are a cyclists and commute from N8 missing cycling routes too much traffic no 20miles not enough policing Wood Green Turnpike Lane has great potential because you have everything but it’s as I said left rotten
