Its fine for children in terms of safety, but there could be more parks and the schools in the area are definitely not great. Personally I'm hoping to move further out to somewhere more peaceful and with good schools

The 18 bus is very convenient, the only issue is that there are lots of people with prams and they never make way for wheelchair users by folding the prams etc., even though the wheelchair space is the only space for wheelchair users. This even happens in rush hour, which is disappointing as its limits disabled people from an employment perspective.

Its a CPZ which I guess is fine - I don't drive so I can't really comment. Brent Council collect waste bins fortnightly and recycling bins weekly. I'm not sure what the main demographic is in my street. I imagine its probably an even mix between renters and home owners. There aren't many children on my street, although my neighbours either side have children as do my direct opposite neighbours - although they are in the minority on our street. From observation it seems mainly to be couples in their 30s who have moved to the area more recently, or older people who are retired and have lived in the area for a long time. I definitely don't think there are any or many students around. Traffic noise is minimal, except when the the World Cup or EUFA is on - then cars will race down the street and toot their horns in celebration when their team wins a match. I don't think there is much anti social behaviour, but it you walk a few minutes down towards Harlesden that changes dramatically

I think there is a really good range of amenities. For groceries you have a small Iceland, co-op and Sainsburys + independents. There's not a lot of restaurants but there are a good number of nice xqges

Good public transport links into Central London and overland rail to Euston. The underground station also served o. The jubilee line which means a trip to central London is on the card in less than 15 min

The good aspects are the restaurants and bars there is also a cinema called Lexi cinema It's staffed by local volunteers, sells great wine, and has one of the most eclectic programmes of any cinema in London! In the summer, they also do outdoor cinema in the local parks.

You can see the changes happening around you. The council now has £4 million, which are being spent on upgrading the public realm on Station Road and the centre of Harlesden,following consultation and work with local residents. And there are more and more local activities, and fun stuff going on. All good.

It’s very friendly and the it’s very much a community area where people treat like family. And the people who live on my street are mainly owners

There’s a small park and quite a few fast food restaurants, BFC is a particularly popular shop with fair quality. Sunset carribean takeaway is very high quality aswell
