Overview of NW2 1TD, Handley Grove, London

I really consider myself and my family lucky to be able to call this neighbourhood a home. It is situated in a perfect spot close to everything one might need and surrounded with lots of parks and green areas.

Transport

Public transport is perfect. Tube stations Golders Green, Brent Cross, Hendon Central, Finchley Road and Cricklewood, all within couple of minutes. National Express and bus routes 102, 226, 113, 189, C11 gives perfect connection to city centre, major railway stations and airports 24/7. Lack of cycling routes is a problem but I believe it will be better.

Community

Haven't got a chance to meet my neighbours until we all gathered together during clapping for NHS, so it seems we are as one when needed. It is quite usual to take deliveries for neighbours when they are not at home and to greet each other when we meet.

Amenities

Very good bus connection gives perfect opportunity to get to local Tesco, Sainsbury's and Co op shops. Brent Cross shopping centre is minutes away as well as Golders Green and Cricklewood main streets packed with local shops, trades, banks, caffes and restaurants. The nearest two cinemas are couple of minutes away. There are lots of surgeries and pharmacies to choose from. There are parks situated all over the area. Lots of schools and nurseries. More traditional local pubs would be good. Overall perfect place to live in a quiet neighbourhood within 20 minutes away from a great city centre.

People on the street who do not work, who use drugs and often quarrel with even serious injuries and even people who have died from stab wounds

Transport

In this specific area the traffic is very strong but the buses and metro are very efficient. Traffic is created by the presence of various supermarkets, but also because many people are unruly

Community

My street is not too bad, no traffic noise and good parking, but nott all the people are quiet and reliable

Amenities

More or less all shops are now closed only Off licence and supermarkets are open. CMQ in general lacks something for the boys and the people under 30 years
