I like the people on my road, it is multicultural and brings in people from all walks of life, whether that be young students to older couples. The atmosphere is relatively calm, but busy considering the location and the area surrounding it. The area is suitable for children, especially school kids since there are great transport links for them to travel to school using TFL. It has got great access to a variety of amenities and is busy area overall, but still provides that sense of community and comfort.
Transport
Transport is very accessible and well connected in the area - the tube station is close by and there also is the Hendon Thameslink train station nearby. Buses are widely available, and offering an extensive number of routes and destinations to people. However, traveling by car can be tricky considering g the popularity of Brent cross shopping center and the expected flow of traffic in the area - it is particularly difficult to travel by car during rush hours and busy periods.

The area is a good place to live, it is fairly quiet and lacks disturbances. The services such as bin collection and up-keeping is great, and the people within the neighborhood are friendly and respectful. There are times where traffic can echo into the area, but it isn’t too loud or noisy enough to disrupt patterns of life. There is minimum loitering and hardly ever any antisocial behavior which is a benefit. The road is mainly made up of families and children of all ages, along with the elderly and a few groups of students.

The area in which I live in is rich in terms of amenities. There’s a variety of different shops and services available within reasonable distance; especially when you acknowledge the proximity of Brent Cross shopping center, you have access to a wide range of different amenities. Whether that be retail shops, restaurants or service based businesses, NW2 is most definitely a good place to be. As mentioned before, Brent cross shopping center is most popular in the area for its vastness and the wide ranging business/spaces it has. In terms of what they are missing, I’d say it could do with a more diverse retail park, whereby they introduce a more relevant shops that people would be interested in, such as a supermarket like they have in Watford.

The area is considerably safe, there are no dangers till now. It’s a quite area so there are no market noises or traffic noises which makes it a very calm environment. The area isn’t very modern but it isn’t in need of regeneration. I’d say it’s a suitable area for children and pets since theres a very close park and open space.

In my local area there is mainly busses you can get in order for u to get a train you would have to take a bus to the closest station. However the transport is very clean and buses come every certain time.
Community
There are many good aspects of living in this area such as parking availability so your not having to pay for parking. It’s a very quiet area so there’s no traffic noise which is lovely. Everyone in the area is very sociable and there is good communication. There is a bin collection service that comes every week so the area is always kept quite nicely.
Amenities
In this area it’s absolutely wonderful how much open space there is. Specially if you have kids the park is always close or if you want to just go for a walk you don’t have to travel far. There are quite a few local shops but you have to walk quite some distance. The benefit is that they have everything you need. In terms of restaurants there are many but you would have to take a bus to go, there’s a wide variety of food in the area.
