As a creative, my area needs more creative spaces. Youth centres, studios. We have one pirate studio which is fairly new, but before that there was nothing and so all the creatives in the area do generally travel further out just to find facilities.
Transport
The transport links from NW10 where I am are amazing. I am a good distance away from the jubilee line (Neasden station), the metropolitan line (Wembley park) and the northern line (brent cross). Because I am so close to these it’s also easy for me to reach the overground by changing over on one of the lines. The buses in my area are also really good
Community
My street is a mix of home owners and renters it’s a nice quiet road and a lot of us are familiar with each other. In fact a lot of us who grew up on this street are still very close as we’re all still here. Parking isn’t an issue and I’d say bin collection is good. There is barely any anti social behaviour at all and we don’t get much traffic noise from the north circular.
Amenities
In terms of bars and restaurants, there is a lot of great choice in the surrounding areas like Wembley. Wembley outlet is probably one of the most popular place for locals for shopping or eating out, as is Brent Cross. Locally, there is Neasden shopping centre where you can get a lot of your essentials with food shops, chemists, barbers etc but I have to say it’s not the most aesthetically pleasing. We have brilliant open spaces like the welsh harp which is huge and stunning in the summer and Gladstone park. I’d say in my local area we’re missing places where you can grab a drink with a friend, the surrounding areas like cricklewood and Wembley do make up for that though and with easy transport links from NW10 they aren’t hard to get to either.

The area is considerably safe, there are no dangers till now. It’s a quite area so there are no market noises or traffic noises which makes it a very calm environment. The area isn’t very modern but it isn’t in need of regeneration. I’d say it’s a suitable area for children and pets since theres a very close park and open space.

In my local area there is mainly busses you can get in order for u to get a train you would have to take a bus to the closest station. However the transport is very clean and buses come every certain time.
Community
There are many good aspects of living in this area such as parking availability so your not having to pay for parking. It’s a very quiet area so there’s no traffic noise which is lovely. Everyone in the area is very sociable and there is good communication. There is a bin collection service that comes every week so the area is always kept quite nicely.
Amenities
In this area it’s absolutely wonderful how much open space there is. Specially if you have kids the park is always close or if you want to just go for a walk you don’t have to travel far. There are quite a few local shops but you have to walk quite some distance. The benefit is that they have everything you need. In terms of restaurants there are many but you would have to take a bus to go, there’s a wide variety of food in the area.

My street it is really nice, good neighbours, no traffic noise, no anti-social behaviour since I am here, most of the houses are rented for multicultural people what it is nice!

The station of Nesdan it is at 8 minutes from here, it isnt the most beautiful station but it is enough for travel, we have like a market at 5 minutes from here with everything we need Tesco, barbers, restaurants. I wold say that it is everything that we need to survive!
