Overview of NW6 1HY, Lymington Road, West Hampstead

I like the park we have especially for the summer .. you can just grab a drink and meet someone at the park. Also the pubs we have are very nice and for when you are hungry you just need to choose what kind of food you want , you can find basically anything

Transport

The area is very well connected. You have the jubilee line and just opposite the overground station. Bus are also running quite often and they can take you to the city center in only half and hour. I would just avoid the morning between 8/9 .. it can get very busy and it might be better to rely on the tube rather than the busses.

Community

In the area you can find living different kind of people, from students to couples or families. The area is well covered by pubs and restaurants so is attracting a lot of young people or people in their thirties. Also there is no much traffic except in the morning , there is a little nice park and the police station is just at the end of the Main Street .

Amenities

West Hampstead is a very beautiful area where to live, full of nice restaurants and shops. One of the beat thing is the variety of restaurants you can find : from Italian to Lebanese to Thai or Japanese. Few of my favourite restaurants are Feng Sushi, Bellaluna and Banana Tree. Also you can find many different coffe shops from big chain like Costa or Caffè Nero to small indipendent shops. If you are celiac or just following a gluten free diet then you really need to check this place out: Lola... you can enjoy a nice English breakfast completely gluten free or you can just grab a coffe and an amazing cupcake. In the area also you can find so many supermarkets: Tesco express, Little Waitrose, Sainsbury’s and Mark’s and Spencer. If you want to cook at home and you need some nice meet then you definitely need to try the Hampstead butcher and providore. You won’t find just the best meat but charcuterie and food from Italy or France. There are also different charity shops so if you want to help you can just pop in and buy something.

Everything is easy to get too. All the restaurants and takeaway places are within walking distance from each other and there is wes hamstead thames link nearby

Community

It is a relatively peacefull and quite area with relatively low crime rate compared to the rest of London and it is clean
