Transport
As previously mentioned elephant and castle is a bus away, same with old kent road, peckham and camberwell. The busses all come frequently apart from 42 and there is little traffic most of the time.
Community
I am a student myself and usually see quite a few at the bus stop. Also because there are so many flats there are a lot kid people from my school living near too, which is a bonus. There’s also a sense of community here, I speak to my neighbours when I see them as with the people owning the corner shops

There are surprisingly quite a variety of shops and restaurants in this area. It mostly consists of corner shops, where there are 3 within a 5 minute walking distance. Apart from them, walworth road is a 10 minute walk away, same with old kent road and elephant and castle is a bus away. It’s quite easy to get to places, my area acts as a sort of airport. The largest open space is burgess park which is good for summer, but apart from that there are many concrete football parks around and ones for children to play in. I’d have to give it a 4, even though they’re accessible some concrete parks in particular can be dangerous as they aren’t well kept

I like the location of the area, the way things are so accessible is just a satisfying thing. The neighbourhood is always quiet and enjoyable too! The area is suitable for all kinds; I had an elderly lady as my neighbour for about eight years, and not one complaint!
Transport
The transport links are very lucky. Everywhere can be accessed from this point. Buses can link to places like Oxford Street, Old Kent Road and Peckham. Camberwell can be accessed easily from here to which can lead you to a train station, same with Elephant and Castle. Rush hour is the usual 12, but only on non school days.
Community
Bin Collections occurred weekly, they are convenient for us. Traffic doesn’t affect us because this area is quite secluded. Parking availability is never a problem, the car park is just below and has available space at all times.

This area is very cultured. Just a 10 minute walk from our area is East Street Market, where they sell a range of products, from fresh meat to hair products for anyone, anywhere. Just before that is the Villa Street Medical Centre, where they have a peaceful environment with amazing staff and skills to ensure you leave the GP with the best outcome. There are a range of school situated around it, good for kids that you may have. Popular stores like Iceland, JD Sports, McDonald’s, Boots SuperDrug are all local and can be reached within a walk. Elephant and Castle is just a bus away where the Elephant and Castle Shopping Centre lies. This area is a very quiet one, and anyone can get comfortable here. Of course everyone should know that a three minute walk away is Burgess Park, anyone can have parties, walks with pets, annual funfairs and even places of worship are considerable distances away. This area is like a diamond in a jewel, surrounded by lovely places to visit.

It is very busy at all times-loud and dirty. It can be quite noisy with crowds of people, and a lot of anti social behaviour.

Old kent road does not have very much on offer- only run down places. Burgess park can be nice, but also quite a lot of antisocial behaviour
