I like the area as it’s very calm and peaceful, nobody is disturbing or tryin to give you a headache in any way, especially at night time, the good thing is having at least one local shop around the corner even if it is a bit expensive but it has almost all the necessary things, I have some problems with transportation as I don’t use the dlr too much I prefer using the bus as it’s cheaper obviously but I almost always have to walk more than 10 min to get to the bus stop, with the dlr you can get almost anywhere so it’s good but it depends on where you’re going. If you have your own transport than you could have some problems as almost all cars have to pay the bay unless you have a motorbike and you can leave it somewhere safe but they told me so many times to be careful as I have a motorbike and the concierge told me that they have been stealing motorbike from inside the garage getting inside behind someone going in with the car so you must take your gadget to protect your vehicle and I would surely invest on it. I found a small space on the garage next to the bikes space and is not marked as a bay so I put the motorbike there and I never had any type of problem so you must see if you have any chance to do so with your vehicle I would advice you to do so,

In Blackwall area there are a lot of way to move using the dlr to get to stratford Canning Town Canary Wharf or moving towards east London without much problems, the difficulties are with the bus for which you have to walk for at least 10 min as there are not many options available unless you take 2 bus and get off at another stop.

There are not places to park the car unless you have a bay and that means you are paying ( and a lot) and I see so many people getting tickets for a quick stop, there are a lot of couples and families in the area, I like the area is cool and calm, you can really feel the peace....

I leave in Blackwall way, the area is cool and calm, the people are nice and friendly, there are not many local shops except bids local around the corner, unless you walk for at least 10 min to find any Tesco or Sainsbury’s, there are not restaurants around unless you walk again in canary warf area

The things I mostly like about greenwich would be atmosphere of greenwich o2. Me and my sons have created a transition of going to Lola's cupcakes in the o2 station a few times a month for a special treat. Little routines like this, with happy vendors make living in greenwich exciting. Theres small playground inspired by Montessori play situation around the peninsula for children, I see many every day.
Transport
We have north greenwich bus station that is on our doorstep, buses are regular and always on time. The drivers are friendly and will always offer help when you need directions. Or if buses and tubes arnt your thing, we have a cable cart and river boats for a new and exciting way to make your daily commute. Cost effective and not as congested as buses, trains or tubes, I would heavily reccomend getting a boat even just once to experience the views of the riverside developments and art scattered along the river line.

Greenwich peninsula has a large population of young families. It's a busy and eventful area, suited to families but also enticing to the younger population for great transport links and job opportunities in London. I see many neighbours who are couples and students. The student are respectful and very social, the couples enjoy the romance greenwich has to offer in the form of art and appealing food.

Greenwich is a beautiful and exciting place to live for new families. From river walks to multicultural restaurants and several recreational facilities located around the area, se10 offers us no opportunity to get bored. Grab a boat into inner london for a new way of transportation to work rather than heavily pack tubes. Softplays, trampoline park and a secret hidden beach across the river accessed easily with the Emirates cable carts offering a brilliant view of greenwich has captured the hearts of my family. Always something to do!

the best part is the convenience to work (canary wharf) and the access to many shops/restaurants there. however once i go north towards poplar i feel the area needs a bit of regeneration. i don't feel that safe and it's not a place to raise your kids. there are not enough good schools around to want to stay here if i ever have kids.

transportation links are good. there's the dlr and jubilee lines within walking distance and plenty of buses that takes you into the city. it would be nice to have more efficient transportation route to heathrow airport

no parking availability - i get anxious when i order big deliveries because i don't know where the drivers can park. bin collection is terrible. the developers decided to put the bins in the entrance of our apartment and it looks like a dumpster a lot of the times because the bins are too small and collections are often missed.

i live within 15-20 mins walk from canary wharf which is full of restaurants, bars and shops to choose from. i do think within blackwall reach, there could be more sit down cafes. it would be nice to have an asian supermarket nearby.
