Overview of SE10 0GS, Greenwich

If you walk just few minutes you can reach the river of the Thames which is always a beauty to watch, very relaxing view and perfect to have a walk, i love the fact there are many parks around and playgrounds

Transport

Maybe this is the only "bad" point about it, as transport there are many buses, but the road is very trafficked during the busy hours so it takes a bit of time to travel by bus, another option is the national rail, that's the only closest train which is fast but doesn't connect to everywhere in London, otherwise you can still use the north Greenwich tube but it's a bit far by walk

Community

Neighborhood is very quiet, i didn't have any problem since i came here and i would say the area it's quite clean in general, as i see there are many young people so probably students of the Greenwich university

Amenities

This area is full of restaurants, groceries and little shops where you can really find everything you need, since i moved here i do all my shopping next to my house and that's great

The area is being regenerated around North Greenwich but they are not creating enough Bars and Restaurants meaning you have limited options unless you get on a bus or tube to go into Central London or nearby Canary wharf. It is overpriced in my opinion as most 2 bed flats are pushing 600k+ hopefully this will steady. Quiet leafy area by the Thames

Transport

There are good transport options near the 02 with the Jubilee line offering quick access to central London and to Stratford a major transport hub. The DLR runds down to Greenwich and beyond to Lewisham. Busses are convenient for getting around the immediate area but not to Central London

Community

North Greenwich is surprisingly quiet despite the proximity to the O2. Closer to Greenwich it gets busier and the roads can become quite congested especially at the weekends. Area is a mix of young professionals, locals that are part of the fabric and some students renting houses

Amenities

Cutty Sark offers an array of pubs bars and restaurants, not to mention the market that runs during the week and at the weekends. Beyond that there are chain bars and restaurants near the 02 but beyond that there are no other focal points. As London goes there are lots of options
