Peckham is becoming more trendy with lovely bars, places to eat, gyms and more. There is also a lot of green areas to walk in whether that’s Peckham Rye Park or little patches of green dotted around the area. They’re great to walk around in or do your daily exercise routines.

Transport

Most of the buses come on a regular basis. However, like most places, sometimes the buses can take longer than expected. There are lots of different bus routes that take you all over London. There are also 4 or 5 easy routes to train stations either by walking or taking a bus. All trains take you all over London and beyond and are on a regular time table.

Community

My street specifically is lovely to live on. Most of the neighbours know each other and talk to each other. Everyone asks favours of each other and pre-covid, we had lots of street parties where we’d share drinks and food. Children play together all the time and the adults often have drinks together. Most of the children also go to the same primary school.

Amenities

There are 4 corner shops where I live and so if you need something last minute there is easy access. There’s also easy access to 4 train stations, by walking or by taking a bus. There’s also lots of different bus routes which take you all over London. There are lots of shops, whether they are small business or big, there is everything you could possibly need. There is lots of green space, ideal for families or people with pets or just people who like to go on walks and do exercise. For those with families, there are lots of local primary schools and secondary schools and easy ways to travel to other secondary schools and places that children may want to meet with friends. Overall, it is a lovely place to live with easy access to lots of resources.

The busses run a little often so you don’t have to wait that long for a bus. In the area there are many buses that take you to different directions it’s very convenient

I’m not sure about parking as I don’t have a car but when people who do come over they don’t seem to have trouble finding a spot.

Amenities

It’s an okay area but it’s s known you be dangerous and home to gangs so that does leave people a little worried. It’s a very diverse community which is nice. You’ve got access to a lot of different shops from clothing to food and there is a gym and a library near by.
