Overview of SE15 3TR, Nunhead Lane, London

This is a great area to live if you want a mix between green spaces and a fun social environment. People are really nice in South East London and you get a great mix between different cultures especially in Peckham. You'll never get bored of pubs and restaurants and in normal times the nightlife is great. The area is going through a lot of change but manages to retain why it became popular in the first place!

Transport

South East London unfairly has a reputation for poor transport links however Peckham Rye to London Bridge takes 15 minutes meaning you are quickly into the city. The absence of a tube might be annoying for some however it does mean journeys are more enjoyable spent on a train or a bus.

Community

Our street is quiet and largely comprised of families however it is located right next to the rye park which is great in summer. Never had any issues

Amenities

South East London is an incredibly diverse and fun place to live in. It offers some of the best green spaces in London with excellent views (Telegraph Hill, Greenwich, Dulwich Park etc) as well as a great variety of restaurants and bars. Peckham, Nunhead and Dulwich are all right next to each other but offer a real variety; Peckham is best for nightlife and a has a great buzz on Rye Lane; Nunhead has a great selection of boutique shops and Dulwich offers a more upmarket experience on Lordship Lane. For me however the people in the area is what stands out - everyone's super nice and it makes it so enjoyable and sociable!

The busses run a little often so you don’t have to wait that long for a bus. In the area there are many buses that take you to different directions it’s very convenient

Community

I’m not sure about parking as I don’t have a car but when people who do come over they don’t seem to have trouble finding a spot.

Amenities

It’s an okay area but it’s s known you be dangerous and home to gangs so that does leave people a little worried. It’s a very diverse community which is nice. You’ve got access to a lot of different shops from clothing to food and there is a gym and a library near by.
