Overview of SE22 9LE, Rodwell Road, East Dulwich

Great village feel, very welcoming with lots of kids around so very easy to join in and form friendships. It’s upmarket but not snobby.

Transport

There is no nearby tube but decent train connections via North Dulwich and Herne Hill. Trains are very busy (pre-Covid!) in rush hour.

Community

A great neighbourhood, quiet well-maintained streets, good schools, strong community. It is predominantly occupied by professional couples and families.

Amenities

Dulwich Village has a small but picturesque main road running through, with a mixture of independent shops/delis and chain restaurants.

there is quite a nice community aspect and lists of new shops and cafes are being built or upgraded. it's safe and appropriate for childeren

Transport

major bus routes go through my area e.g the 176 and 197. there are several train stations within walking distance, but no tube stations

Community

2 parks are available within walking distance, there is regular bin collection and limited traffic. most people who live there have families or are couples in flats.

there's a high street with plenty of shops, a cinema, pubs and cafes. there are 2 parks within walking distance of where I live which is very useful.
