Overview of SE4 2HE, Mallory Close, London

Although, I don't drive, several friends of mine have complemented the area on how easy it is to find parking due its “openness”.

Transport

Transport in the area is satisfactory, just like other areas in London buses being widely available, with our local station Crofton Park also close by. The buses are relatively consistent arriving on time and are adequately clean.

Community

Due to the large number of communal areas, the area has a great sense of community and a bubbling atmosphere, as such anti-social behaviour is uncommon; the area composed of a nice mix of owner families and renting couples My only critique is that the area can get somewhat noisy on busy days even from the comfort of your home.

Amenities

The area is fantastic, especially if you have children. Less than 10 mins apart is an adventure play ground, community centre and playground, a bit further out and you have a CO-OP, clothing store and health care trust. The play ground are the community highlight, the local children playing there while the congregate at the community centre.

Its a quiet atmosphere down our road, you have a lot of privacy and the house that we live in is of modern construction. However it would be really nice to have more shops closer to home because the closest ones are awkward to get to. A few green areas you want to walk your dog.

Transport

So we have 2 train stations near to my house, Crofton Park (southeastern and thames link) and Brockley Station (overground and southern). There are three bus routes stops a 5-8 minutes walk away and one night bus at the same stop.

Community

We live s terrace of houses that were built within the last ten years really nice modern builds, bin collection service is really quick and regular as our road is easy to access. Not a lot of traffic noise because we are a little bit away from the main roads, however you will hear the train go past quite often as the train lines are about 50-75 metres away from our house.

Amenities

There are not many shops near to us, we have a Sainsbury's Local. However it is a bit awkward to get to. Not many eating places or restaurants close to us. Any decent places are a bit of a walk away.
