The noise of the traffic can be super annoying at times. Especially on hot days when we have to have the windows open. We live in London, so it's never going to be quiet, but I've never managed to get used to it.
Transport
Driving around here is a bit of a nightmare. We try to time our drives and when we do stuff so we don't get stuck in traffic. Commuting on the train is quick into London Waterloo from Putney station. Takes 20 minutes. Clapham junction good for links and just one stop away.
Community
A lot of Putney is very rich. But some of the estates aren't don't always feel the safest. I think a lot of London is like that. To a certain extent, I like that diversity, but I do worry for when my children are a bit older and they go out on their own.
Amenities
Lots of amenities near us which is great. Just a bit too expensive for us to save as much as we would want. My daughter's nursery is amazing and the schools are good too which is keeping us in the area. Can't knock the high street for its range of shops.

Cycling is easy but the main transport links are a reasonable walk, especially if you need to get to the tube. In the world of uber though that is less of a direct issue.
