The thing I most like about the area is the high number of shops and restaurants, which means I do not have to travel far to get the things I need.

The thing I most like about the area is the high number of shops and restaurants, which means I do not have to travel far to get the things I need. The thing I dislike most is there is quite a lot of noise and pollution from the high density of traffic. There are also quite a lot of abandoned buildings around which make the streets look messy and there is quite a lot of litter on the streets. Regeneration is required. Transport connections are good, but bike lanes could be improved. It is a great area for students and workers but less suitable for children as it gets quite busy and there are not many open spaces. There are places to walk dogs and go for runs along the river, which is very common for people to do.

Transport

There are many bus stops on my road which give access too central London and they are quite reliable, coming around every ten minutes. I also live a short walk from two tube stations. Cycle lanes in the area where I live could be better. Although they are present there are often vehicles stopped within them. Also at roundabouts, particularly the double roundabout on Lillie Road/North End Road, cars do not give cyclists space while turning which feels quite dangerous. It would also be useful if there were more places to lock bikes, and if these spaces had cameras, as bike theft is high in London. Santander bikes also are popular, with many pick up points around. During rush hour times North End Road and Fulham Palace Road get very busy, often coming to a standstill. The high number of cars creates high levels of pollution and is very noisy.

Community

There is widespread parking on my road, but it is expensive, so people tend to not use the available spaces until the evening, where it is free. The noise from traffic is quite loud but is quieter during the evening. There is, however, noise from building construction which is frequent. Bin collection is weekly for both bins. A couple of times bin days have been missed, which has made it very difficult as I live with six other students. Also on bin days the streets become filled with rubbish, which sometimes spills onto the pavement. The area has a very mixed demographic, with a high number of students and renters. I have not experienced any antisocial behavior.

Amenities

There are a very large number of local food shops within walking distance of where I live including two Tesco stores, two Co-ops a Waitrose, Sainsbury's and a Nisa Local. There are also food markets on North End Road, which is just down the road. Around Fulham there are restaurants of all types including Greek, Indian, Vegan, middle Eastern and Italian. There are also hardware stores, garden stores and kitchen stores all nearby. There are multiple open spaces around but they are quite limited in size. The river is a ten minute walk away which is where I go to get away from the city atmosphere. The river can get quite busy during hot days but there are always places to sit and chill by walking down the river slightly. The most popular area around is on North End Road as there are many shops and restaurants on it and also pubs, which get quite busy at night.

There are plenty of green spaces filled with runners, cyclists, walkers, children and pets so easy to connect with nature.

As with lots of London, it can be a challenge to get to know neighbours but most are friendly if you do see them. There are plenty of green spaces filled with runners, cyclists, walkers, children and pets so easy to connect with nature.

Transport

Parson's Green tube station is less than 10 minutes walk and there are great bus links within a few minutes walk to connect easily with various locations, including museums in South Kensington, various music venues (Royal Albert Hall, Shepherds Bush Empire, Hammersmith Apollo) and access into the heart of the city.

Community

There are a vast range of people living in the area which reflects the amazing diversity of a global city. Big Victorian terraces fill the area and some are still one property but many have been split into flats. There are lots of small estates around the area too, which have a mixture of occupants as some private flats are alongside social housing tenants. It is generally a very peaceful area with regards to the locals. However, it is under the Heathrow flight path but you quickly get used to the planes. Traffic can be heavy at points and bin collection is more regular than some areas. If you are a car owner, you may find it hard to park unless you have off-road parking. Given the great public transport, having a car isn't needed for most people.

Amenities

There are lots of little shops around, with Fulham Palace and Bishop's Park handy. Parson's Green is also close by. If you want bigger supermarkets then there is a large Sainsbury's near Wandsworth bridge and a big Tesco just the other side of Hammersmith. There are a variety of schools around so should suit your preferences. Also plenty of churches around and some other places of worship for different religions too.

The most beautiful thing is people are sharing and carin

The most beautiful thing is people are sharing and caring in the market for any elderly left to get enough what their necessary stuff for the last minute. And I dislike some people behaviour like coughing and talking unawareness in society is unacceptable.

Transport

Any bus or train for public transport is not reliable coz of the peoples are not enough social distancing due to many reasons compared to my experience on last travel.

Community

Especially the social behaviour are not good enough within the kids when they scheduled on school. But in the town and people around are used to aware enough now is a good sign way to positive mind.

Amenities

As I m not a food lover or hanging restaurant or pub normally, I have no idea how is actually look like the situation now and no comments for those kind of place. But my personally views will be likely to prefer keep social distancing and wearing mask is extremely recommend whatever you are around in the town.
