I just like the sense of community in the area like as long as you’re an outgoing person it’s not uncommon to walk down the street and say hello to the shopkeepers or meet neighbours down the road and have a smile. A lot of people know each other in the area and it’s just welcoming.

Buses run through the main street and there is a train station nearby so it’s very easy to get around and get to where you need to go. There are many routes you can take from the main street and many bus options in the area. And as a plus a lot of the buses are night buses as well, so getting back into the area at night is never an issue. Sometime there is roadworks going on so there may be certain parts of the roads are closed off and this can impact where you can get the next bus from. But this is rare and it doesn’t impact that much because you normally just have to walk to the next bus stop it’s never the whole road.

We have a mixture of owners on the street but there are some buildings that have renters with families and couples. My street in particular is very friendly I know all my neighbours and I’ve never had problems with the owners. There is a peaceful Street sometimes we do get some people who are travelling through instead of going onto the main road that bring about anti social behaviour, but is rare. It may be a negative for someone who likes a quiet neighbourhood. But yearly the Notting Hill carnival will affect someone who is living in this area. Because it’s close to the main stage a lot of people be walking through the streets, there will be littering and noise pollution because of how close we are to the carnival, so for two days every single year that is something that you need to be conscious of. I feel safe living in my area. It is a great place for children with a lot of clubs and provisions available. It's also great for pet owners. Cats have secure access to the back gardens and dog walkers can use the park with specific exercise area as well as enjoy walks around the area or alongside the canal. The area is popular and up and coming. It's within an easy access to central London but doesn't feel too busy or noisy.
