The atmosphere is not great in all honesty, it’s almost like the area lacks a sense of community to make it really feel like home. That said, I don’t see any major issue raising children in the area, there are a range of schools and open areas.

The availability of transport in the area is standard, no better or worse than you would expect from London. As far as I am aware there are one or two train stations within walking-ish distance, perhaps cycling distance. Not an abundance of night buses but I don’t find myself in situations where I am required to ride a night bus though so I have no issue with it

A good aspect is ability to park. I never have trouble parking the car after work which I reckon I take for granted because gosh at this point I don’t think I’d Ben able to handle parking the car a road away. A bad aspect is being near a busy road is we hear a lot of traffic and receive a good bit too. The houses are mostly owned I would assume with a range of homeowners from couples, families, singles

A number of locations to buy food which is ideal for somebody as lazy as I am, don’t like to travel too far for anything really! The kids are always at the parks which seem to be quite popular in the summer months as everyone wants to be out catching the sun. I personally feel the area lacks activities as there aren’t many things one can do for recreation in the area besides going to the park.

There is an incredible amount of regeneration taking place in the area local to Shepherds Bush Green, however, it is in keeping with upgrading the area, but not at the expense of the overall local community members.

Hammersmith, which is accessible by bus or tube also offers the Hammersmith Apollo. The area has a mix of international restaurants and food markets that offer incredibly diverse options for producing a variety of home cooked ethnic foods or restaurant produced foods.
