I love living here, it’s central yet quiet and feels safe. There is a friendly atmosphere where people smile at one another in the street and neighbours say hello and stop for a chat if you decide to engage with them. The area is upmarket and more investment into renovating properties and improving the local area has been evident over recent years. It’s a wonderful area for kids and pets with Wormholt Park seconds away, Hammersmith Park (complete with lake & Japanese garden) a few mins away, and numerous other parks nearby. There’s a recently renovated theatre, tv studio where you can watch filmings & events, Soho House, Shepherd’s Bush Empire hosting music acts, and Pergola rooftop bar. The gardens of the homes back onto each other creating a huge green space for animals to safely roam. The gardens are sheltered and plants grow well. Chiswick, Hammersmith, the river, Notting Hill and Holland Park are all extremely close if you want to venture out of the immediate area.

Amazing transport links with 4 tube stations (central & Hammersmith and City lines), 1 overground station, lots of bus stops, and cycle lanes on main roads. Driving is also easy with the A40 taking you into central London or out to the M40, M1 quickly. The M25 is also easily accessible.

W12 has so much to offer, you can go on a world wide adventure with out ever leaving this post code! If you do have to leave (perhaps you have a job in a less cool area) you will have no issues finding a selection of different transport routes to take you where you need to go! (Ps. we need more Boris bikes!) W12 you rock!

Our street rocks! We live on a quiet street which sees minimal traffic and the only annoying sound to be heard is the odd fox in the middle of the night.! There’s a mix of renters and owners on all the streets surrounding us! But everyone takes good care of their homes and front gardens and rubbish is always kept under check! We love our neighbours! The family that live below us knocked every single night of Ramadan with a different delicious dish for us all to enjoy! And to the right an Australian teacher helped us out with homeschooling projects and made great friends with our dog :) There is so much love , support and solidarity between neighbours :)

It is a community area but there is a certain divide. Gangs do operate but the local police do monitor the area regularly. There are a few primary and secondary schools in the vicinity so there are alot of families and pet owners.

The area benefits from designated cycle routes, bike hire docking stations and 2 tube lines and an overground station. Several bus routes cover the local area plus the west end. Traffic can be busy on the A40.

My street is mostly social housing and there are a few gangs in the area which can be quite intimidating. There is residents parking or metres plus electric car charging points. The local council provide refuse collections regularly .
