Acton has the most number of stations in London. We have over ground and underground links all of which mean you can get almost anywhere in London, really easily. With the new cross rail due to open within a few years, we are so lucky that central London will be closer than every. Cycle routes have improved over the past few years and should continue to do so. There is a great cycle path down the side of the A40 which speeds up journeys going west. Buses run well here too. There is a great service from Acton to Hammersmith which is sadly due to change at some point soon. Often car traffic can be bad on Churchfield road especially due to the level crossing. However, if you time it right you can avoid the crossing being down.

My street is quietly pleasant. Luckily it is not a cut through meaning traffic flow is low. The residents are mainly elderly couples or families with a mix of teenage children and young children. We have great street parties and know all the neighbours both on our street and on the ones parallel. Noise from neighbours is rare. Gardens are close together so in the summer you might hear more noise. However, it is never unpleasant. Parking is alway easy along our street and parallel ones. And visitors can park at the end of the street using the app Pay By Phone, very easily. Bins are collected weekly - but alternating between recycling and refuse. They are collected on time each week. No complaints there!

We have lovely privately owned shops and restaurants, pubs and cafes in our area. The very popular Churchfield Road is home to most of these. There is a wonderful pancake cafe called Mr Bake Me. Run by a greek chap called Athan. This is popular with the children and adults alike. Then we have a great bakery called Lavellis- perfect for coffee and cake or a sandwich or freshly baked bread. Heart and Soul is a wonderful flower shop where you get a great bunch of flowers for really reasonable prices. For a posher dinner date we have Fed and Watered which is a very upmarket and modern British family run restaurant with gourmet style food and a Master Chef finalist chef in charge. I can walk to 2 lovely large green open spaces from my home both with great children's play facilities.

Transport is very good in the area, with tube links via the District, Piccadilly, and Central lines, and also London Overground and National Rail into and out of Paddington Station. Buses are frequent, and the roads are generally pretty efficient. Traffic can easily grind to a halt when there are stoppages on the North Circular, A40, or A4 routes, and local traffic has been severely affected by the closure to traffic of Hammersmith Bridge. I do not cycle, and would not be tempted by local cycle routes, which do not seem very safe to me.

My street has a very suburban feel, comprised of semi detached houses. Most residents are either families or older people and the area is fairly quiet, a bit away from the shops and restaurants. Some noise from the A40 at the far end of the road, but not too disturbing.

Acton and Chiswick have a good range of both Local and Chain Stores, and a fine range of neighbourhood restaurants. The Chiswick High Road and Churchfield Road areas are noteworthy here. Nice parks include Chiswick and Acton Parks, and the Dukes Meadows Riverside area is also popular. There are a variety of sports centres, including swimming pools and gyms, which are popular locally. Would be great to have a local cinema, as the nearest are in Shepherds Bush, Hammersmith, and Park Royal. Altogether, this is a great place to live.

There is a lot of buses that can take you everywhere, central line tube not far in north acton and acton main line just around the corner, only problem i have in rush hour is not having a space in the bus if there is a buggy in there as i have a double buggy, i never had problem with transport though , its good connection to everywhere

Bins are always full by weekends and rubbish everywhere on the friary park, neighbours smoke quite a lot and i feel its a bit unfriendly if you dont share the habit of smoking. There is also really friendly neighbours so it's. Overall somewhat ok

Lots of corner hops alright quality, some if them i never use as i cant seem to find anything i want there. Different restaurants, i lie quite a few of them, i dont drink so i dont know about bars. I like acton park as its spacious and i like the friary gardens its simply beautiful. It needs more activities for the kids, more play areas.
