Living here feels like living in an oversized village . There is a vibrant community with every interest catered for . There are so many lovely open spaces with choices of walking in Chiswick House grounds or walking along the river. As a family we moved out of the area to the suburbs but missed Chiswick so much we moved back after eighteen months .

Excellent transport links with good connections from mainline rail,underground and bus services . The centre of London can be reached easily within 25 minutes There are also many cycle docks and newly created cycle lanes
Community
The pollution is very high in this area due not only to volume of traffic but the area is under the arrival flight path for LHR so consequently very noisy at times .There is a wonderful diaspora of residents which adds to the charm of living here.

There is an abundance of shops catering for every need from hi end delis to “pound shops”.Also a selection of hi street supermarkets with a Sainsburys Waitrose and M&S.There are numerous hogtie type shops so great for browsing in and several book shops .A good selection of fashion wear shops but mostly pricey.As with anu hi street there are also many charity shops ranging from the regular Cancer Research to the very popular Oxfam book shop,

The most thing I dislike is that there are not that much zebra crossings which is not really safe for children but despite that the area is pet and child friendly
