What I like most in my area is the general accessibility of public transport and the presence of a number of shops that cater to my needs as an Asian. In terms of safety, I think it is safe considering that it's like a high street and that the Wembley police headquarters is just nearby. with regards to children's safety, I would say that it being a high street, it is not the best place for children to reside as there is always a danger of the busy road. On the contrary, I dislike the fact that it appears old and dirty. I would say it needs some pavement cleaning and repainting of the buildings, and upgrading of the shops signages/store fronts. I would appreciate that if I go in the area, I would still feel that I live in London, not in a slum-like street.

Transport

Transport is very good in the area. There's Wembley Central station which is a bakerloo and an underground line. There are also numerous buses that pass by the area. There's also the Alperton station, which is a Piccadilly line.

Community

Good aspect in living our street is the lack of antisocial behaviour. There is a pub nearby, but it is never noisy. Rarely do people come out of the pub drunk and causing a scene or antisocial behaviour. Traffic noise is not much too. The part of the street closer to Wembley central is mostly shops, while the one near where I live is already mostly residential. There are families living in the area, but probably renters too. Probably the bad aspect in living here is the visual appearance of the pavement and the shops near Wembley central. They look untidy to me and could be an eye sore.

Amenities

I live in Ealing road in Wembley. There are lots of shops and restaurants nearby that are mostly Indian, that's why it's also popularly known as "little India." I'm not Indian myself, but being Asian, makes me like the place as most of the dishes I'm craving for are served in the restaurants here, especially the ones that serve rice. For vegetarians, this will be a good place for them, as there are vegetarian restaurants in the area that serve cheap and sumptuous meals. Takeaway vegetarian shops are also a good place to go, as you can buy rice and vegetable meals for as cheap as £1.25. Another thing I like about the place is the presence of shops that sells tropical fruits and vegetables at a cheap price. This is something that someone from Asia or a person who likes tropical fruits would want to visit. There is also a fish merchant in the area that sells seafoods at a good value. Other amenities include a community library nearby, a coffee shop/restaurant beside it, and a pub. There is also a mosque nearby, pawnshop, bank, Indian clothing shops, plant shop, and many more. Meanwhile, what I don't like about the area is the fact that the street looks a bit unkempt. It may appear clean, but the buildings and the pavements just look a little bit dirty. Passing by the area, you might forget that you're actually in London. Overall, since I live in the area at this point, I am slowly learning to like the place. Probably the best part of it is that it is very close to Wembley Central station, which is a Bakerloo and an Overground line. It is also near Alperton station, which is a Piccadilly line - so if you live in this area, you definitely have more travel options available if you normally use public transport.

I personally like all the restaurant

I personally like all the restaurants as there is a wide range to choose from and many different cuisine to choose from. The area is suitable for children or pets as crime is relatively low in Wembley

Transport

Transport for London has done a great job in providing public transport links from Buses running throughout Wembley to TFL having Wembley Central Underground station and Wembley Park Station

Community

Scarle Road is a multicultural street with families from all over the world, the neighbourhood is quiet and parking is available in driveways and on the street.

Amenities

There’s is a range of local shops in Wembley from many different cultures selling a wide range of food and drinks from all over the world. Wembley High Road is popular as most of the local shops, restaurants, bars and open spaces are situated on Wembley High Road ranging from clubs like Masti to restaurants like McDonalds

The road links are also good however there is a lot of traffic around the area particularly Greenford road

The whole area simply requires more security and more regulations which are closely monitored. In terms of maintaining the local environment and quality of the area

Transport

Transport links via underground, overground and bus are good. The road links are also good however there is a lot of traffic around the area particularly Greenford road

Community

Traffic noise is decent, a lot of rentals have now popped up as long established families move away. We have a large amount of white vans parked along the streets they cover views and make visibility difficult.

Amenities

Poor, parks are unsafe. Burglaries and robberies as well as assaults seem to be heard of more and more often. Better security needed.
