I think that the area is all right. It is not the best area in London but for sure it is the most afordable. For many people who leave here it could feel like heaven compare to the countries where there come from. It is suitable for family with children and pets

There are lots of transport links from Barking station. National rail C2C with 20min journey to the City. Also London Overground serve here and ofcourse London underground with District line and Hammersmith an city line and many buses as well

I think that on my street there are many good things. First of all it is not very busy one eventhough it is very close to the Barking center. We have free resident parking which is on the street as well. Bin collection is done every week. Anti-social behaviour is like everywhere in London. There is a bit train noise from the rail lines but it is bearable

There are lots of shops in the area like big Tesco, big Asda, Lidl, big Sainsburys and so many other local shops like Bulgarian, Romanian, Latvian, Turkish. Four days per week there are local market on high street which is quite good. There are 2 Costa coffe shops and some other brands. Also there are some restourants. The most beautifull atraction for me is Barking park which is really nice. There is 1000m long lake with variaty of wild life. The park is very well look after.

It's definitely in need of regeneration. The streets should be cleaner, at the moment Barking looks like literally no institution is looking after it. It's loaded with rubbish on the streets, plenty of beggers and drunk people..

I don't travel much as I work from home, but I think most people are dissatisfied with lack of toilets in Barking station, because the one's there are - usually out of order.

I'm a young person so I try to surround myself with people similar to my age. I recently moved in to Barking (3 months ago), so didn't have enough time to figure who lives around me.

Everything seems to be kinda cool, apart from amenities that are missing. Would be pretty good having something that East Ham has - Deichmann, Primark or Sports Direct

Parking is okish but need more because people tend to park infront of someone’s drive way and then they can’t get in or out. Bin collections brilliantly done. Social behaviour is great Only time u really c traffic is when school runs

Most shops are ok but some of them have no home training n no manners then you have take away food shops like why oh why they let beggers in when they just give problems I don’t know. Parks are same like everywhere else open then close too build flats or houses s as n we defo need some places where the places are just open so for example someone can have a function in a venue without upsetting the whole neighbourhood
