I love the atmosphere of my area, it is definitely more upmarket than other areas in Greenwich and offers beautiful views of London and the O2. I would say the area is suitable for pets as there are lots of places to walk them by the river and the woodland areas. Also I would say that it's very suitable for children to live here also as there's a lot of services offered for kids nearby.
Transport
North Greenwich tube and bus station is nearby and has reliable connections to central, East and further south of London. The nearest train station is Charlton and the nearest DLR is cutty sark, which also isn't far. There's a lot of cycle paths and walking paths too. There are many buses that are regular and reliable, but it can be a hassle getting to other areas of London such as West London because there aren't any direct connections.

My area is nice and quiet and I have respectful neighbours who are mainly young professionals who are renting their apartments. There doesn't seem to be a lot of antisocial behaviour and the area is kept very clean. Parking, however, is hard to come by and can be very expensive in my area which isn't good for when I have people visit me.

There aren't a lot of local shops near me but there is the O2 arena which has a shopping outlet and a variety of restaurants. Also there are a few big retail parks just a stones throw away that have all the supermarkets and high street shops. I have a big IKEA and cinema around the corner from my apartment too. Everything is so close by that I don't need to travel to other areas for anything. There are lots of open spaces around my area where people go to exercise with amazing views of the river Thames and canary wharf, but there's not alot of parks or actual green spaces nearby.

I love living in Greenwich because the vibe is very hip and trendy with a lot of young people, but is also balanced out by the families that live here too. I'd definitely agree it's both suitable for children and pets and is a safe area to live in. Everybody looks out for each other around here and I feel part of a tight knit diverse community.

The transport links in Greenwich are faultless. There are a few train stations and a DLR station within very close proximity. There's also a lot of bus routes that frequent the area and night buses too. Overall, the transport links are reliable and clean and I haven't had any issues with the transport network in this area.
Community
Greenwich is a very diverse area, there are lots of families with young children, students and tourists that all live here. It is nice because even though so many different groups of people are living in the area, you can still feel the sense of community and everyone is friendly. The only issue I have with living in this type of area that is so popular would be just how busy and crowded it can get at times, especially on Bank Holidays.

Living in this area of Greenwich is nice because there are so many open spaces and a variety of shops. The famous Greenwich Park is huge and even has reindeers and an observatory in it! Furthermore, Greenwich Market and the Cutty Sark area have lots to offer in terms of variety of shops and restaurants. This is probably one of the most popular and frequented areas of Greenwich as there is so much to do and see around here.
