Getting around from my flat is pretty easy. I like to walk as much as I can, but the overground is close by. I have two stations I can use which are Queens Road Peckham and New Cross Gate. They both are on different branches so I can get to different places in South West London easily.
Community
There is not much to complain about living in New Cross. It's pretty affordable for a student and there's always something going quite closeby.
Amenities
Renting in New Cross has a lot going for it. There's a lot that I need in walking distance. Sainsbury's near my house means that I can always get I want for food. When I go out out, I head over to Peckham as there is loads to do there now. Also really like Deptford village. There's usually something going on as the University is so closeby. There aren't any big parks around, but there are loads of smaller ones.

Neighbourhood is quiet and very good neighbours are nice and there is a lot of travel options like bus, underground, overground and much more, there can be some rush hour issues on the main road but it’s not very common.

A lot of families live in the neighbourhood all friendly and there kids are great to have around to keep my kids entertained, there’s not much traffic noise and bin collections are great and there’s always parking available

Because of covid there hasn’t been much activity in the area, but it is extremely well placed and has a lot to offer, a lot of nice bars to go to for late nights on the weekends with the boys, nice restaurants to take my wife and kids and great weekly shopping locations, just sucks that covid is around.

Very good. The overground nearby allows you to get anywhere, albeit with changes. Train straight to London Bridge is handy

My street is nice a quiet. However, new cross high street is extremely busy and feels heavily polluted

They’re not too bad but could be better. More nice cafes would be a bonus. Peckham nearby has more on offer
