What I love about the area is that it is located within zone 1 but feels very suburban. It is a very fashionable pace to live with a huge range to facilities. Regents Park and Hyde Park are also walking distance away which is fantastic.
Transport
Transport is excellent. Baker Street tube connects to loads of the underground lines. Short walk to Oxford Street for shopping and great bus links.

I'm luck that my place doesn't face the main road so traffic noise isn't an issue other than the occasional siren. Neighbours tend to be young professional or families. Bins bags are required to be left in the street so it can look a bit messy until the bin men collect them.

There is a huge range of restaurants, everything from McDonald's and Whetherspoons to celebrity hangouts like Chiltern Firehouse. Marylebone Highstreet is home to loads of great boutique shops and some great book shops.

So close to regents park and baker street stations. But also, one can walk everywhere so one rarely needs to use public transport

There is a tight community of those who have lived here a long time, and we all get on really well. The parking is very bad given the location, but otherwise everything is really nice and peaceful

Marylebone has everything one could ever want. Restaurants, pubs, shops etc. You can never be bored!
