There are a lot of transport links e.g lewisham station,heither green station , catford station and lots of busses coming past however there could be alot of traffic in the morning and evening (rushhour)

The people are friendly and so are the workers In the area there are a lot of owners on the road to who like to have a good conversation

Amenities

There's alot of supermarkets in this area and alot of friendly people the shops are cheap the food shops are cheap e.g fast food,takeaways and delicious

Although not the most up and coming, there are certainly nearby areas that are worthy of note and we are well served with amenities, shops, eateries and community spaces. There are definitely communities around that are doing their best to regenerate the area. The area could do with a little more regeneration as there are some areas that are particularly run down and others that can feel unsafe if out alone. Generally though this is an affordable, friendly and connected place to live.

Transport

The links to central London are surprisingly good in SE what with the rail service. I can get conveniently to London Bridge and Waterloo from Catford, Ladywell and Lewisham. It is unfortunate that there is no tube service in this area, which means that it is more difficult and inconvenient to travel west to Brixton, for example. This connection could significantly improve the area, as well a perhaps extending the overground to serve more of the South East.

Community

Living on this street is convenient for proximity to shops and amenities, unlike a 10-15 minute walk away which is quieter but less well connected. On the whole the area is quiet, with no noticeable anti social behaviour. We hear the occasional ambulance for the hospital but nothing that is too intrusive or keeps us awake at night.

Amenities

There are lots of lovely places in the area for socialising, eating out and walking. During the lockdowns on 2020 I particularly liked taking walks in Mountsfield Park where there is a lovely park cafe offering hot drinks, cakes and speciality sandwiches to takeaway. The park is big enough for long enough walk and it’s easy to find a good route. I also enjoy the range of cafes and eateries nearby in Ladywell. There is plenty of choice but I’m a particular fan of Mama Dough for pizza and Oscar’s for coffee!

Train station 8mins walk from where I live. Plenty of bus stops and easy access to taxi and uber. Though the smell of drugs at the station can be quite heavy sometimes and very bothering.

Community

Very quiet area with nice people around. Bin collections can sometimes be disappointing but people tend to respect the rules of recycling.

Amenities

Nice pubs and restaurants around the area. Local shops with one that I absolutely love which is a sustainable shop, plastic free and local products. A few big parks in walking distance which allow a good refreshment
