The demand for houses and apartments in the High Street Kensington area has rised over the past few years, making them pretty difficult to afford. It is definitely a good place to live in compared to other places in London, but as I have said before, it feels like it's more apt for young couples and professionals. Having a family or children in this area can get complicated: the traffic jams, the tourists, the lack of schools nearby, the pickpocketing in the underground... I would recommend moving to a more relaxed area like Fulham or Chelsea if you still would like to live in the West side of London.

I live within 3min walking distance of High Street Kensington featuring the Circle line and the District line. Furthermore, there are plenty of buses that connect to other parts of the city. Transportation is realiable, however we have to be extremely careful these days. More and more pick pocketing is happening recently at the station and it's sad to see this is happening. I have also noted that there is less people working at the station, which makes me feel a bit less secure (especially at night). As for the private transport, I do not recommend having a car unless you have secured a parking slot. This area is great for walks and public transport, not so much accommodating for a car unfortunately!

High Street Kensington is a great place to live in if you like the vibrant atmosphere and busy streets. In my honest opinion, it is great when you are in your 20s or early 30s and can afford the lifestyle and small living space. If you want to have a family, there are other areas in Chelsea that would be better suited for that lifestyle. I currently rent my flat and I am happy with the price I'm paying, however I know that the affordability in this area is a problem that many have encountered. My area is pretty touristy so it is normal to meet people from other parts of the world, I like it.

I love the High Street Kensington area. The energy I get from walking in this neighborhood and the people I met here are one of the many reasons I stay here. There is also tons of great places to eat. The only downside is that we are losing our local shops and Kensington Church Street is filled with international stores...

There are plenty of shops and restaurants which I love, in addition to the parks and green spaces. Definitely would recommend to come live here!

I normally drive in my commute to work. I need to be smart about when to leave my house and when to get back as rush hour can make your commute last for an hour longer every day. I am happy with the transport links and I feel there are plenty of options for everybody to be connected with other parts of the city.

In my opinion, the good overcomes the bad. Good aspects: safe, reliable, easy to move and access, optimal social behavior. The bad aspects are more related to rush hour and the queues forming during those times. In my street there is mostly renters I believe: young professionals, couples and small families.

One of the things I like the most in my neighborhood is the variety of restaurants and pubs. There are also plenty of green spaces which makes it easy for me to go for a daily walks or runs. I do not necessarily miss anything, I think it covers all of what we need.

The people who live on my street are all owners and some are serviced apartments. A lot of families live on my street. There is a tiny , pocket handkerchief sized garden. It is a relatively quiet area very near to good transport links and local amenities.

There is a park which is very popular called Holland Park. That has a playground. There is no cinema but the shops are quite good although a lot of them have shut down. We like any other area have been affected by COVID -19 so social distancing is in place. There are gyms but no high class restaurants just your average McDonalds.
