Golders Green is only a 15 minute walk which connects to the northern line which is very useful. There are also railway links aswell as lots of bus stops to get you where you need to go.

A really lovely community. We have set up our own food bank for those struggling in our local area. I know so many people which is lovely especially in this day and age.
Amenities
Really lovely local park which also features a cafe and a tennis court which anyone in the local area can use. Really lovely to have the green space especially living in a high council flat. Really nice local shops and pharmacy to get what you need and some independents are open till very late which is useful if you ever forget something. Further down in golders green which is just 15 minute walk, there are so many Korean restaurants which I’m obsessed with so it’s nice to also have that so close by a short distance away. However, a lot of our green space is being taken away, and even though we were promised our community center for the children to be rebuilt, it never happened and instead they are building houses and flats on our green space for the private sector which is such a shame.

the area is suitable for pets and children. i feel quite safe especially because of the busy atmosphere you feel like you are part of a community. atmosphere is contrasting at times but that is london, it’s not too quiet or not too busy

it is close proximity to transport, there is rush hour especially during the mornings and evenings and it does get busy quit a lot however after rush hour, it calms down

bin collections are in point. mostly renters live on my street and parking availability is high, i have not seen any anti social behaviour

the shops around me are very friendly. everyone here is very friendly. Bars and restaurants are different in terms of culture and food. open spaces are used to a maximum standard especially for exercise

I really like the quietness of the area, not too many loud parties occur which is a good thing for people who work. Also the different international restaurants nearby are really great and would recommend.

There are plenty of buses that go through the area which is very useful. However there isn’t a nearby train station which would’ve been useful

Around my area there are quite a range of international restaurants and essential shops. There is also a nice open space in the park called golders hill park, it is very spacious and refreshing. One thing that would be nice to have around is a clothing store as there isn’t too many around this area.
