Clapham Common is a very lively safe area full of energetic young people. A few anti social behaviour coming from the clubbing area where drunk people can cause trouble on a Saturday night. The park could use more toilets and bins. Also stands selling food and drinks. I like living here but if you want a very good restaurant you might need to look somewhere else.
Transport
It is a pretty connected area as you can get there by tube and overground. A lot of buses around headed to different areas of London too. The northenr line can get pretty busy at rush areas which is not ideal with the scenario we are living with coronavirus. The underground is not the cleanest but it is not the worst in London.

I love living by the common where I can just go sunbathing, exercising, reading, cycling, playing games, picking. My street can get pretty busy at the weekends with young and drunk people so not very quiet or clean. It needs more bins and regular collection during the weekends. Mostly Millennials professionals living together.

The are is great for shops, there are many supermarkets, pubs, clubs and Clapham Common park which is very popular during the summer as young people hang out for sports and picnicking. Unfortunately there is only one gay club but the area is very diverse and fun overall.

On the overall. Clapham High Street is a very friendly, clean and socially friendly area. I have never experience anti-social behaviour and the street is kept very clean all year round.

Clapham Common High Street a great place for shopping dining and socialises. Despite lockdown, many restaurants (local and franchised) are doing takeaways. Also, pub are serving drink for the outdoors. Similarly, most small shops are slowly reopened and the pavement market is reopening in the coming weeks. All in all, a great place to hang around during this time.
