Southfields is a busy area! Lot so of cultural diversity and a very safe place too

There are so many tenaosott links Southfields station - district Bus stops to Clapham junction station, Vauxhall, Putney Bridge, Wimbledon, Tooting, Roehampton and many more popular places.
Community
There is a lot of traffic in Southfields since it is considered to be part of Central London i.e. Wandsworth especially during 8-9am on roads and buses. With trains there is rush hour but luckily there are multiple trains which come an go
Amenities
Southfields is a great area to live where there is access to a train station (district line). Most importantly, there is a whole range of shopping centres within Southfields I.e Southside, Putney High street and many more. Southfields is also close by to The Wimbledon Tennis court which is a thumbs up if you love tennis. Further there are multiple small shops such as Tesco, Sainsbury’s etc nearby Southfields train station. If you have children, there are so many outstanding schools nearby such as St Michaels (primary school) and Ashcroft Acadmey which is ranked first in the UK as a state school to do well in exams.

Without doubt, the worst thing about the area is the traffic. However, at the weekend, we try to walk to as many places as possible with the children or just pick our routes wisely. The parking can be limited too on our streets though parking permits are available to us as residents.
Transport
The traffic down the A3 into Wandsworth is often gridlocked, but going out of town into Surrey isn't too bad. We use the tube from East Putney a lot or get the bus to a train station like Putney or Wandsworth Town.
Community
The schools are brilliant with many different ones to choose from, as well as nurseries for our youngest. Both are children are very happy where they attend.
Amenities
We love living near here and are really glad we bought a home to raise our family in this area. The schools are fantastic and having Putney heath so close by is great - as well as the many different restaurants in Putney itself on the high street but also near Southfields station. The regeneration around Wandsworth is much needed, but it's a good place to head if I need to do some shopping.

There are a few takeaways that are worth visiting. Although, there are not many restaurants from a wide range that can be selected from.

There is a bus stop nearby the area. However, there is no Underground Station around the area which could be an issue for those who need to get into Central London.
Community
You can make friends with a lot of the locals as the majority are parents that live around the area who are welcoming. I find that the community within the area is nice as everyone always helps each other out when in need.
Amenities
For parents with kids, this area would be pretty good in my opinion as there is a Primary School and Nursery nearby. However, one massive downfall I think is that there are no supermarkets around the area locally.
