My local area is very trendy and lots of people travel far to go to Hampstead Heath are shops around Hampstead. There are lots of dog walkers and everyone is generally very friendly and sociable. It is a generally safe area apart from the odd mugging.
Transport
Transport near me if amazing it’s usually very quick and there tends to be little traffic at Belsize Park underground station and nearby buses. Sometimes there tends to be very bad traffic around Camden market on the buses and sometimes tube stations. There are some roads near me that have been blocked off for drivers that tend to create more traffic than before when they were open.
Community
The parking availability tend to be quite bad and I struggle to find parking spaces. My neighbours are very friendly and usually social with each other. I would say they are mostly elderly people and families. there is very little noise and traffic on my street.
Amenities
Hampstead Heath is a beautiful and local landmark for many people around this area. It’s my favourite place to go and spend time outdoors especially during this lockdown. Inside of Hampstead Heath I love the Parliament hill field lido pool and cafe. Both amazing places to relax and take a cold swim. I also love the woman’s ponds on the heath as it is very private and affordable to go to. Love my local Indian cuisine Dars tandoori grill, absolutely delicious and very affordable. Camden Town is an amazing and cultural place to go to and hang out with friends and show people around london. The stag pub near me was a fun space to go and eat but is sadly not flourishing as usual due to the pandemic :( I would love this area to have a few more local markets and community areas to go to. I would like to have a local fair each year. A skate park near NW3 would be very popular as many kids around hear have to travel far to get to the nearest one.

To sum up, this is a friendly, quiet and safe haven in the middle of busy North London, but don’t let it lull you into a false sense of boredom! Also nearby are some of the best pubs and restaurants in all of North London and just a little further afield is the buzz of Camden Town!

Within a short walk of Kentish Town tube station, as well as Gospel Oak overground station, one of the major overground hubs in North London. Kentish Town Station also serves the Thameslink, allowing you to not only take the tube to wherever you need in the city, but to easily connect to train services to the South Coast and major airports around the capital!
Community
Living on a quiet cul-de-sac in the middle of bustling London with so much within walking distance is a rare pleasure. The area is well maintained, safe and the neighbours are all friendly. Not to mention the proximity of Kentish Town City Farm!

Amazing place to live! You have all you need within walking distance - from highly rated pubs, through a local leisure centre (with an indoor pool!) to Queen’s crescent, with its myriad of shops and buzzing outdoor market. And if you’ve had enough of the city’s sensory overload, Hampstead Heath is only a short walk away to let you unwind and recharge!
Weedington Rd, NW5 4PRA decent area to live , with some caveats
The best thing about the area is its proximity to lovely open spaces and the local market at queen's Cresent. It's access to amenities is good without attracting the foot traffic of some of the busier areas. There is also a nice sense of community, although the anti social loudness at night can sometimes be bothersome.

Two northern line tube stops within a 15 minute walk and gospel oak overground station 5 minute away. All reliable and useful for getting around. There is also good bus coverage with a stop on queens Cresent serving a number of routes to central and south london
Community
It's quite a lively street with a good mix of people , majority of people on the street are families. Also decent parking availability.
Amenities
Really good local shops , queens Cresent just down the road. Kentish town and Camden Morrisons also within a 15 minute walk. In terms of opens spaces, both Hampstead Heath and Primrose hill are close by so also excellent. The only con is a lack of great restaurants nearby, there's a few good spots on Kentish Town high street and a few decent pubs. But nothing that really stands out.
