I like that the area is quiet and there is no antisocial behaviour. The atmosphere is quiet and feel generally safe. The area is suitable for children and pets. In terms of the look of my area I feel it requires a upgrade and have some changes like more parks, redecorating like painting needs to be redone in the local area.
Transport
There are 2 bus stops within walking distance with frequent bus arrivals at busy times. Buses are usually overcrowded and noisy during rush hour. Quiet times are OK but it does get busy quickly especially as elderly amd mothers with prams use it alot. Buses are slow to get to the destinations There is an lack of regular night buses. The DLR is quite good and runs more frequently. You can get to your destination quicker than the bus. It is usually quite clean and reliable too. However, we dont have a underground tube and the nearest is at Canary wharf so have to travel by DLR to Canary wharf and do an interchange to the tube.

The good aspects of living in my street is that there is no antisocial behaviour and it is always quiet due to mainly elderly residents living in the area.

In my area it is tranquil and there are some takeaway and a large Asda supermarket as well as a small Tesco nearby. There is a pub across the road and a primary and secondary school within walking distance. We have a large park nearby for children to play in, it is not a busy area either. The riverside is within walking distance where you can look at the nice views and greet the ducks. There is also the Mudchute Farm where there are animals and a large open green space for picnics. You can walk through the greenwich foot tunnel and get to the other side to Greenwich which is in South east london area. It is a historical place with the markets, museums and the main greenwich park. Another particular local area is Canary Wharf where there are different kinds of retail like clothing, stationary and food as well as bars, restaurants and museums. It is one of the most popular area in Docklands with the famous canary wharf buildings. Public transport are also accessible with buses and the DLR nearby. However, the amenities missing around my area would possibly be more cash machines needed as well as another large supermarket as Asda is the main supermarket in the area and can get very busy. Also more spaces for parking cars as ot is difficult to obtain a space to park. Other than that my neighbourhood is nice and everyone living nearby are usually friendly.

There is a little of wild cats in the area which I find fascinating. It goes to show how accepting this area is to allow stray animals to come around here and we all treat them with care. It is the perfect area for me and I don’t think I could be happier

There are a lot of buses in the area which is amazing as there’s more or less a bus stop every corner making it less effort for when I’m trying to travel. It is also a very quiet area so it is relatively fast. The train station is also local which makes it very convenient with easy access to it

There are also many local shops like asda which is really convenient when going for grocery shopping as it isn’t very far away. There are also many corner shops which are very useful when it comes to essentials like milk and bread, with very quick access

Island gardens station is a walking distance from my house which is very useful and there is many transport such as ubers are very accessible. The area is quite clean littering wise however there are many construction work which distract the public quite often

I enjoy how everyone follow the rules of social distancing and covid rules and a lot of security around the area which is impressive.

In my area there are many places to walk by and open space i really enjoy the space and parks we have over here as i can go on regular walks and runs.
