Archway is a mobile area, changing all the time. Thankfully it is still family friendly with good schools at all levels. There are many Archway communities that have flourished on the internet and their is widespread local help during the pandemic for vulnerable residents.

Absolutely outstanding links to of London, south to the West End and the City and plentiful routes both local and further field over all of north London.

On my estate, there are good bin collection facilities, a mixture of owners and renters. Both couples, singles and families populate this area with close links to all of Archway.

Archway N19 is an area of many changes. Still part of the older London localities, it has in recent years accelerated its progress to a much more modern central area of north London. It has attracted new shops - not always to everyone's pleasure, but Aldi, M&S Foodhall and modern lively coffee shops are welcome additions. A new road system around Archway Tavern has made access to the central island easy. So what are the good things. A great London hospital - Whittington - a matter of hundreds of yards from Archway Centre. Easy access to Parliament Hill and Hampstead Heath with the mysterious and famous Highgate Cemetery en-route. Archway also has the most fantastic transport links with connections by Underground and bus directly to the West End and the City of London as well of links all over north London with plentiful buses and British Rail network. On the downside is that property prices and rents have increased in the last few years. High buildings are proposed for the Archway island area. Also local pubs have diminished in quantity and few older taverns remain. What is needed is a good ironmonger to replace the much missed Thomas Bros. And more local shops and creativity would be welcome. But still a great place to live and work

Amazing accessibility to Tube, overground, and multiple bus lines within a few minutes walk. Plenty of routes and regular service and easy access to all over London.
Community
A quiet street with a variety of both renters and owners, families, couples, and individuals. Regular bin collection and not too much noise or traffic, though people do often cut through to get to Holloway Road.

N19 has everything you could need. Several lovely pubs within walking distance, and countless delicious restaurants and takeaways of all different types of food. A variety of groceries including M&S food, Aldi, and Co-op as well as many independent greengrocers and off-licences. Walking distance to Hampstead Heath, one of the most beautiful green spaces in London.

Best thing is how close Hampsteah Heath is. Walking distance. For stretching and a bit of exercise. Don't like how unwelcoming is when you go out in the tube station (Archway).

Apart from the main street, where you can find typical fast food shops, there is nothing much really in this area. Quite residential.
