A few local community shops and cafes have been taken down due to rent prices increasing and replaced by chain restaurants and stores which gravely upset many members of the community.
Transport
The methods of transport are very abundant in the area with multiple bus stops on every Street the overground and underground just a few minutes walk from the centre of the area. They come frequently during the day although there is a lack of transport methods during the night which makes it hard to come or go from 11 onwards.
Community
there are many parking spaces available to those who live on the street. The bin collection is frequent enough and always on time. Although located near a main road there isn’t much traffic noise. The inhabitants of the street are mainly families, a few of which have lived here through more than one generation. There are a couple of students which share houses but they don’t ever conduct anti- social behaviour. The street has a group chat to ensure constant communication is kept up to keep spirits high during these difficult times and help if anyone is in need.
Amenities
This area consists of many small local family owned shops which truly bring a authentic atmosphere to the area. The tangible sense of community makes one feel at home regardless of where you come from. The bars all have their own individuality with kind, joyful workers who know and love the community they reside in. The small parks spotted around the area is filled with picnicking families and dogs going on their daily run. This area is truly the nicest I have ever lived in.

The local transport is quite abundant. There are many stations nearby and also quite a few buses. I drive however so the public transport isn’t of much use to me.

The street I live on is very quiet and peaceful. There is not a lot of traffic at all here/
Amenities
There are a large number of shops nearby within walking and driving distance. It is a nice place to live. Hopefully there will be more progression.

There’s an increasing move towards more gentrified shops and cafés which I welcome. Kentish Town has recently received bad press as a result of a lot of crime in the area last year. I feel as though gentrification introduce a different vibe to the area. A vibe that I think is needed at this point.
