Overview of Kingston Town

I live my area. Kingston is beautiful and has a lot to offer. It is a part if London, however it’s quiet at the same time and it’s surrounded by nature. A lot of parks, the riverside.. Friendly people is another plus. Kingston is very bery safe as well!

Transport

There is no tube in Kingston, however a train to central London is fast. Bus stops are on every corner, so it’s bery easy to get to wherever you wish to get.

Community

It is a nice neighbourhood. It’s in very close proximity to the centre of Kingston, where all the shops and restaurants are.

Amenities

Kingston has a beautiful riverside, which is always full of people, especially during the summer. There is so many restaurants and pubs where you can sit down and enjoy a nice meal or a drink.

Kingston has one of the highest Council Tax payments in the country, but is it worth it for the sake of its amenities? Kingston does have one thing going for it; variety. Its transport links bring it right to the heart of the New Malden urban shopping area and its own high-street is a treat for anyone from a smaller town. Links into London and the surrounding boroughs are also well facilitated by bus and train, meaning there's significant access to any shops or food outlets not represented on the high-street. That being said, it does suffer from a lack of quality in its local food. New fast food restaurants and dining experiences are plentiful, but rarely quality. Their quality stagnates around the level of a work-do evening and the clubs are no better. The cinema and escape rooms are nice to have as options, but like the restaurant scene, somewhat limited in the actual quality. You'd be better off looking further afield for quality than staying at home for convenience.
