Knightsbridge, SW7 1AZPeople tend to either keep themselves to themselves or are very snobby.
While it's fantastic for our children that the park and all the museums are so close by, they do attract huge crowds so it is never ever quiet walking around here.
Transport
The traffic near here is dreadful. I just don't see driving as an option. I try not to use the tube as I don't like the idea of it, but if needed it is probably the quickest way to get to wider parts of London. Luckily much of what I ever want to visit is walking distance for me.
Community
I don't really rate the community feel around where we live. People tend to either keep themselves to themselves or are very snobby. Because of all the money in the area, I find a lot of neighbours on surrounding streets can be very ostentatious and not at all approachable.
Amenities
We bought in the area as we wanted to be in the thick of what the Capital had to offer. In terms of local amenities, we want for nothing being so close to Hyde Park, Knightsbridge with its many shops, and South Kensington for the very best museums in the world.
Princes Gate, SW7 2PDIt’s quite a young neighbourhood which makes it quite lively - there are lots of students around.
I like how well connected it is. Also it falls within a good borough and there is fantastic access to Hyde park as well as numerous shops and restaurants in the area.
Transport
There is easy access to 3-4 different tube stations which operate on different tube lines. This is helpful as it makes access easy and means that if one route is inaccessible, you can still travel via other routes. There are also some buses though I’ve not found the bus routes that helpful.
Community
It’s quite a young neighbourhood which makes it quite lively - there are lots of students around. A few roads down, it’s a lot more residential with families both young and more elderly.
Amenities
There are lots of nice restaurants, cafes and sandwich spots in the vicinity. There are also lots of high end hotels and restaurants in the area too. The access to Hyde Park is great.

There are lots of banks within the local area and the fact that Hyde Park is close by is a massive bonus. Imperial College London is also nearby so if you have any individuals who need to study at university, this is a convenient factor.
Transport
Knightsbridge Underground Station is about 7 minutes away and on top of this, Hyde Park Corner Station is another 9 minutes away. This is valuable to the local area and commuting to work or anywhere else would be made easier.
Community
There are many tourists within the area as Hyde Park is famous within London due to its size and various activities that take place there. As a result, I find myself seeing people of many different cultures which is interesting.
Amenities
Although you need to travel outwards to get to the shops, there are many out there such as Harrods, Zara, and Tommy Hilfiger. This accompanied by many restaurants and cafes around the area.
Princes Gate, SW7 2PDI like that it’s upmarket and in close proximity to trendy places.
