Like- transport, things to do around us, parks, bars, proximity to Tower bridge. Dislikes- seems colder in winter than areas away from the river. Train noise levels can go up sometimes depending on the day of week and the age of the train itself. The area is mostly trendy with a lot of warehouse conversions. Generally in good livable condition. Plenty of parks and open areas for children and pets. Safety- it does have a few dodgy pockets near Borough High Street so need to be careful in the dark. Also the tunnels can be scary at night if you are walking alone.
Transport
London Bridge tube station is a short walk away and also has great connections to other train services including trading to Gatwick airport. Buses run regularly on Tooley street and there is one more entrance to London bridge station from this Street. Tube station gets particularly busy during peak hour but nonetheless no major issues. Thameslink trains have their fair share of delays but it's always convenient as long as you allow for this. Plenty of night buses available as will in this area.

A lot of renters- mostly young professionals so we never get to see any trouble makers. Street parking is available as long as you organise your permit. There is very little traffic noise; although a slight rumble of nearby trains cannot be ignored. The noisiest establishment near us is a skate park. No major issue with the skate park- just teens being teens- loud!
Amenities
We are only a five minute walk to Bermondsy Street- full of bars, cafes, pubs, restaurants and quaint grocery shops. There are also the usual grocery stores like Tesco, Sainsbury's and M&S on Tooley Street about 5 mins away. Borough Market is also only a short walk away.

I love my local area , which is perfect for couples before they have children. I will say this area is entertaining with good access to cafe and beer. Very convenient with the great transport next work. One thing that is missing are sport field such as gym and sport center. I need to go to other area such as elephant and castle to do badminton / swimming. I saw a lot of pets owner , but I don't think there is enough pet facility nearby . This is a safe area but not Bermondsey, regeneration is needed in that area.

Great transport link. You can reach everywhere through London Bridge tube station . The tube station is being managed very well. It is clean and organised. However , it is the joint of transportation network, it is a bit crowded sometimes

As the area is very entertaining, sometimes there are many bottles left on the road . If people are living by the Main Street , noise from the crowd or traffic is a problem. As this zone 1 , I believe mostly they are the owners for couples.
Amenities
I live nearby Malty Street Market. In there you can find lots of excellent cafe, craft beer and wine bar. People enjoy spending their weekend over there which bring a lot of energy into this neighbourhood. Within 10 mins walk , you can reach Borough Market which is another joy of food and drinks in it. Except the food, you can find Tate Morden and Tower Bridge very close by where you can have a seat and enjoy your peaceful moment. In terms amenities , it will be great to have more excellent restaurants joining this area and more facility for the public to hang around , sitting , chilling in this area

Lack of nearby tube station makes it difficult to commute anywhere and especially at late night. The nearest station is an overground which isn’t convenient to use due to its timings.

Bad aspects are the bad neighbours who are very rude and just today I saw a police van come to take some teen away as they had stolen something. The kids next door fire firework from their balcony that hits our building! No good aspects to discuss !

Immediately within my building, the quality of restaurants, shops is below average. Needs a massive make over! Open spaces aren’t kept clean and there aren’t that many nice opening spaces near the property. Would want to see more green and clean space. High end stores are missing as they are quite far (boots, H&M, etc)
