I personally love the borough but i do admit that it is not for everyone. There is a lot of culture including art, food and science. Things that can change more bins to keep our streets clean and a larger police force to make sure we are all safe. I wish that there could be more of an effort to pick up the litter. There is a lot of garbage unfortunately. The areas with abundant restaurants, bars, and shops all have enough recycling and trash bins. I feel that there are not enough trash and recycling bins on the residential streets.
Transport
There is way too much construction going on all around the area. With all of the construction it makes traveling in a timely manner difficult. In addition, the teenagers in the area make traveling by way of public transportation unsafe at time. The public transportation system needs a larger police force, especially during peak times. As I mentioned before, it would be great if we could get more bins so that we all keep the tube clean.

The street I am in is (I am told) much devolved from its origins. Instead of being fairly nice and family-friendly, things are decaying and there's a lot of petty crime. Many of my neighbors in my street have complained about Amazon parcels being left by the door and stolen by someone. However, I am also told, by locals, that gentrification is coming in, with the hope things will be nicer in 5-10 years.

I enjoy living in this area because it never gets boring. There is many great things that Kensington and Chelsea has to offer. It has many good restaurants and bars and is very walkable. I would like for the city to become more aware of environmental needs. I think for being a major area it is behind in its efforts towards cleanliness. There are not enough trash bins, or recycling bins placed throughout the borough. This leads to people throwing trash where ever is convenient. This is not a great impression to people visiting. I do love the food scene and think that W8 is a great place to eat and drink your way through.

Overall this is a great community to raise a child. It feels like a small town where everyone knows each other. There is a countable number of minorities in the area and everyone is up in everyone else's business. It is so safe that people can walk alone at all times and not have to be worried. Very active community. However, the bid drawback are the tourists. They, too, are everywhere. I hate tourists,so it definitely gets to me. I try to hang around outside towards the evening, when most tourists and pop-up salesmen are gone, and it's emptier, quieter, and an overall much nicer area. At the end of the day though, these are very minor things in the scheme of it all. It's really a wonderful area, and I think I'd still live here if I could do it all over again - it's just so accessible and so full of life and rich with culture - it is very, very London, in the best way possible.
Transport
I use the circle line to Farringdon and it is normally a pleasant journey and very fast. The rly rains are not noisy and they arrive every 1-6 mins. I get that the underground is efficient and nice (or at least way nicer than in many other countries) but it’s still not good enough to be that expensive. Each journey is £2.40 if you don’t have a daily pass or something like that, so avoid it if you can; the bus is cheaper and still nice.

I live right very close to Hyde Park. It's huge and beautiful. I love the vibe and atmosphere of my street. I wish housing was more reasonable in size and pricing. My other complaint is that, not unlike many areas of large cities, it is often dirtier than I think it deserves because of the nightlife scene. On the upside, my street has many bus stops and transportation is very easy which is a plus.

It is very chill, relaxing, and convenient. It's also very safe. You can find restaurants, diners, supermarkets, and anything that you need basically here. But it's not that ideal for shopping or entertainment, of course, because of the high prices. There is a lot of turn over in terms of restaurants and shops due to rising rent levels but overall the stores are of high quality.

W8 it's the place to be! A place for both young and mature. Kensington is the best area to shop for virtually anything. The area is inviting, fun and educational. The area is filled with top notch restaurants both affordable and trendy. It is the place for college students to spend time. You never tire of walking around, having a great meal, going shopping, studying and everything in between!
Transport
Transportation is quick and easy around town, it has access to all the important lines connected to the city. Personally I never take the bus as it can take up to two hours sometimes to get to Piccadilly Circus. The traffic can get quite heavy during peak hours!
Community
Atmosphere is very trendy but the downside is it does attract tourist and crowds. One of the most sought after living areas in Chelsea which makes it one of the most sought after in the country. Definitely would live here for a couple of more years. Real estate and shopping prices have skyrocketed and many residents are not full time, but also have vacation homes elsewhere. Still, Kensington is a very relaxed and informal place, where people still hang out on the street and watch the world go by.

W8 is a nice area to live in. There are many restaurants around and Parks. The health care is top notch. Although you are surrounded by shops and restaurants, there are many other things to do. You can visit the Roof gardens, the Scarsdale Tavern, the Design Museum, Royal Albert Hall..,etc.
