Ambleside Rd, NW10 3UHIt's a nice pleasant street with a lovely atmosphere
The area badly needs more colleges for arts and leisure activities for young people and adults. There should be an adult education college. There is very little to do. There is no cinema or live music. There is too much crime in the surrounding areas and occasional murders ,there was even a murder in my street last year. It is frightening after dark. There should be more supermarkets better quality shops and cafes.

The nearest train station is Neasden a 20 minute walk away. The nearest bus stop is in a street so dangerous I have to walk 10 minutes further away. There are a few local busses 266 and 260 which are dirty smelly and overcrowded full of hostile people. They take you to willesden bus garage where you can get busses to the west end or willesden Green tube station. They also go to Shepherds bush or hammersmith in the other direction. There is also the 18 which goes to the Harrow road Baker street and Euston. A 20 minute walk away is willesden junction station overground with connection to most places.

It's a nice pleasant street with a lovely atmosphere, it's near the park, the air is fresh and clean. It feels safe and friendly.
Amenities
There is the wonderful Roundwood park. Beautiful views from the top of the hill, a cafe and shop selling plants and flowers, a beautiful open space with flower displays victorian gates , drinking fountain and wishing well, there are also many beautiful trees. There is a B and M and Tesco, and argos but there are no other large supermarkets. There is a local high street with a superdrug, iceland and holland and barrett but it is mainly small local shops with poor hygiene and the area is often hostile and frightening with lots of violent crime incidents, it's best to have things delivered or travel to another area to shop. There is not much else. There is no cinema for miles the nearest is the lexi in kensal rise or the gate on notting hill. There are no large live music venues . I miss the mean fiddler which closed down many years ago. Not many coffee shops , I cant find good art materials anywhere just cheap stuff from B and M. There are no museums no art galleries, not many places for adult evening classes, nowhere to learn art or music or drama.

I think it’s a combination of everything to be honest trendy and traditional and it’s as safe as can be I’ve lived here my whole life and never I repeat never have been fearful of going outside or anything if anything I embrace the area I live in and enjoy the amazing activities we have seeing as we have access to a lot of different things.

The busses come at the latest every ten minutes which is very convenient and there’s loads around and we have access to trains as well.

On our street we have a private park on our estate which is very good for any kids on the estate.

We have loads of shops and Access to loads of different parks there’s fun for everyone and it is a safe area for everyone.
